Christmas Wreaths Throughout the House

I love wreaths…wreaths on doors and wreaths on windows…

…..and wreaths on mirrors…and anything that stays still…

……….and that is why is hubby is in constant motion, so he won’t get “decorated”…

Here are my front door wreaths..

…..those are the only Christmas decorations I have outside for now.

And the wreath that is on the mantel this year…

…..I placed my wooden monogram on my cotton wreath that I made.

I have made all the wreaths in my home with the exception of the front door and dining room wreaths…

I wait until after Christmas and I hit the gift shops that sell the higher end ribbons…

…..I usually get them for 75% off and when they are $40 to $50 per roll, that is a significant savings!

This wreath of copper and gold florals and ribbon hangs on a closet door in the media room…

…..I tend to use the copper and gold tones in this room.

I purchased this beautiful ribbon on sale after Christmas…my favorite thing to do!

    my most favorite!

Thanks so much for linking up!
I am going back to examine each and every detail,
    Shirley!

    GORgeous!

Beautiful wreaths………especially love the hydrangea one, as I have a love for hydrangeas….high end ribbon is so hard to find. Feel like mine looks cheap………

  6. Shirley, your wreaths are gorgeous! Last year, we had them all over the house. This year, I haven’t done one yet! You do such beautiful work!

  7. You have some beautiful wreaths and a lot of them. I crown you the queen of wreaths.

  8. Glorious! I’m happy to say that I proudly hang several “Shirley Wreaths” throughout my home as well.

  9. Shirley, each wreath is prettier than the last. You are very talented.
    Merry Christmas

  10. Wow! Wow! Wow! You have some exceptional wreaths. I cannot imagine the storage nightmares. LOL You must have a lot of wreath boxes. :) Love them all, I don’t think I have a favorite. xxoo

  11. Beautiful display of your wreaths Shirley, love them all. Making wreath can be so much fun and hopefully not burn yourself with a glue gun.

  12. Gorgeous wreaths!!! You are tempting me to throw fate to the wind, crawl out of this bed and get my cough-and-cold-infected hips downstairs to play with creating more for our own home!!! You have some really pretty ones. I’m with you on buying the pricey ribbons and ornaments at the end of the season. It’s a bonus that you get a good percentage off AND get to have an early Christmas the following year with all the new goodies!

  13. So lovely Shirley! I’m so jealous of all your wreaths…I definitely need more of those and pretty ones like yours that don’t cost an arm and a leg are difficult to find! Hope you have a great weekend!

  14. Wow! Your wreaths are all so gorgeous! I love the rich glittery ribbon used on them. Looks like your after Christmas sales are paying off. I have always loved your french front doors. I love the look of double wreaths on them. Can’t wait to see the rest when it’s finished.

  15. creativehomeexpressions says:

  16. Love all the wreaths!!!

  17. What a great tour…especially impressed with the wreath you made ages ago using green ribbon, and is hanging on a mirror! ;)

  18. You’re amazing! Your wreaths are lovely. I’m your newest follower. I hope you can come and follow me at Pinehurst Cottage and journey with us on the renovation of our vacation cottage. I’d love to get your input. ~Amy

  19. Shirley, you do amazing work. Love everything
    Thanks for sharing

  20. Shirley, your wreaths are lovely. I happen to love the Hydrangea Wreath very much. Those are my all time favorite flower. No matter what the season is they just seem to compliment anything.

  21. Wow! Your wreaths are gorgeous — they look SO much more beautiful than anything that can be bought in a store. And I love that you spread them out to different rooms of your house. How neat to have a bit of Christmas in every room. :-)

  22. pstandley says:

You’ve become a real artist with your wreaths. Every one of them are so uniquely different and rich looking. Wow.

  23. All your wreaths are gorgeous Shirley! I’m hard pressed to chose a favorite but I think it might be your copper one with the glittery band of ribbon. I had some from Raz in red and apple green that I loved and used in a garland that I carefully wound up each year but it still shed glitter :) Looking forward to seeing the exterior of your home with your wreaths! Happy Decking the Halls to you!

  24. They are ALL so beautiful, but I LOVE what you did with the monogram! I wish mine would arrive from Very Jane so I could copy you :)
    Stacy

  25. All of them are gorgeous, Shirley. There’s no way that i could choose a favorite! I like that you made them all lush and full. Looking forward to seeing more of your Christmas!

  26. They are all so fabulous Shirley!

  27. Very pretty! The brown is my fave but all of them are gorgeous! Love your front doors too xox

  28. Shirley, your wreaths are gorgeous! The one from the guest room on the blue wall is my favorite! You did an outstanding job putting them all together! Can’t wait to see more of your Christmas decorating! :)

  29. Your front door wreaths are gorgeous and what a clever idea of hanging the dining room wreath on gingerbread trim. Love it.

  30. One word… WOW. Ok, one more word…. Beautiful!

  31. WOW! You have so many pretty ones. You are the Wreath Queen, aren’t you? LOL.

  32. You are the wreath queen! I couldn’t pick just one! Take care, Laura

  33. Shirley they are all marvelous!! My favourite is the one with the green hydrangeas.
