We love sitting out on our upper back porch as it is very cozy.
However, I must say that Fall is my favorite time to enjoy the porch.
To sip my first cup of coffee in the crisp mornings of Fall…
…..watching the day begin with a gorgeous sunrise.
While decorating the porch, I had flashbacks of my home in the 70’s….
…..decorated in the colors of rust, greens and blues.
I am fortunate to be close to a wonderful Farmer’s Market
…..where you can find every conceivable pumpkin or gourd.
So I was happy to be able to buy and decorate with pumpkins from local farms.
I was on visual overload…so many gorgeous pumpkins to choose from…
…..along with beautiful Fall bouquets and mums.
Bouquets of magnolia leaves and hydrangeas caught my eye at the Market…
…..I will definitely be a “frequent visitor” at this booth.
Pumpkins placed on the vintage plant stand…grouped together in a corner vignette…
…..of mums, sheaths of corn stalks, and pumpkins.
Being surrounded by beautiful flowers makes me very happy!
Flowers and pillows…what more could you ask for?!!
“Hoo” in the world doesn’t love great Fall decor!??
Hope you enjoyed my 2013 Upper Back Porch…as much as I enjoyed decorating it.
I can enjoy it from every room on the main level…a good thing!
