The Master Bedroom Fall Makeover was the first on my list for transitioning into Fall.
Could it be because it’s the easiest one for me? Or could it be that this room
is not as visible to others . . . and the thought of changing things out for Fall
when it is still warm and the leaves have not turned colors may be rushing it a bit.
However, I am ready to usher in the cooler mornings and evenings.
These (Pottery Barn) pillows were my inspiration.
The duvet cover is new. (Reza Palampore by Pottery Barn).
I loved that the design had some brown tones of the branches
and of course the color scheme of corals and blues.
The fur throw (Pottery Barn) was used in my winter decor last year
and I thought it would be perfect for the Fall makeover in this room.
Only the colors of Fall were added to the room
with the exception of two Lenox leaf bowls with pumpkin potpourri.
And some bright orange flowers . . . to set the Fall tone.
There is always a place for animal prints in any room and any season.
Soon it will be time to take the gloves out of the closet.
And wrap yourself with a most soft and comfy throw.
I have already organized my scarf drawer
keeping my favs and donating the rest.
Kids back to school . . . college football in full swing . . . and soon . . .
we shall feel the crispness in the air. The gorgeous colors of Fall.
I bought my first round of mums and pumpkins.
I saw some pumpkins in a garden center on my way to my hubby’s tournament this weekend.
So on our way home, we stopped and I bought a few to start my upper porch decor. Coming soon!
Have you purchased any mums yet? I just have a few to get me started and then will be getting
so many more, as I love how they make our homes so beautiful and inviting in the Fall.
Have a most wonderful day!!
