bHome Fall Tour ~ The Sunroom

I love to be home in the Fall.

Why? Because as a former Florida Girl, I never experienced the true changing of the seasons.

It was always summer like. Well maybe a brisk day here and there in the winter.

I would have to make a special road trip to see Fall leaves.

However, now that I moved further north, the Fall has truly become my favorite season.

To be able to see the spectacular fall foliage from every view in my home

is such a beautiful thing!

Today, is Day Three of the “Why I Love to bHome in the Fall” Tour and I will be showing you

my Sunroom dressed for Fall.

There is also a wonderful Giveaway. A chance to win a $250 Amazon Gift Card.

Information of this giveaway will be at the end of this post.

Sunroom - Fall Decor - Housepitality Designs

I encourage you to visit my fellow bHome Fall Tour participants that are on tour

with me today. Their links are below along with the links for Day 1 and 2 of the tour.

You will certainly be in awe of the most wonderful Fall inspiration they have to share.

bHome Fall Tour

My inspiration for decorating the Sunroom for Fall this year

was this pillow from Pottery Barn that has olive branches in the design.

I knew those were the colors I wanted to use in the Sunroom this year.

Then I found these wonderful pillows of pretty pumpkins at Pier 1 with the perfect colors

to compliment the other pillows.

Dried Hydrangea arrangement - Sunroom - Housepitality Designs

I had used this dried hydrangea arrangement in the Great Room last Fall.

This year I added some dried limelight hydrangeas from the shrub

that we planted last year and I also added some dried lavender roses

to tie in the colors from the pillows.

Dried Hydrangeas - Housepitality Designs

I wanted to use more natural elements in my Fall decor this year

and moving more blue and white into this room.

Fall Vignette - Sunroom - Housepitality Designs

The potting bench got “fallified” too.

White Stock flowers and Apple Green Spider Mums from Trader Joe’s

fill the vintage watering can.

Vintage Watering Can - Flower Pot Topiary - Sunroom - Housepitality Designs

My vintage flower pot pumpkin topiary.

A pumpkin candle that I have had for years under a cloche with Spanish moss

and dried eucalyptus leaves that sit upon a stack of vintage ironstone plates.

More vintage flower pots, blue and white and my favorite book in the world,

sit on the bottom shelves of the potting bench.

Potting Bench - Vintage Flower Pots - Housepitality Designs

My antique pie safe that was a gift from my hubby many, many, years ago

stands on the other side of the potting bench.

In the South, Fall is a time where you see the most gorgeous fields of cotton,

a sea of white fluff . . . ready to be harvested. Such a beautiful sight to see.

Cotton Stems - Olive Bucket - Housepitality Designs

Now, moving over to the other side of the room is my comfy chair.

Sunroom - Housepitality Designs

A vintage ironstone pitcher filled with lavender

sits beside a antique blue and white porcelain covered dish that used to belong

to my friend Martha. I so love this beautiful set of china.

Magazine Table - Blue and White - Lavender - Sunroom - Housepitality Designs

I filled the covered dish with pears

embellished with dried hydrangeas and eucalyptus leaves.

Another table to fill with Fall pretties.

Do you spy my desk behind the chair?

Sunroom - Fall Vignette - Housepitality Designs

This is the prettiest Fall potpourri … pretty enough to eat … but don’t … ask my hubby! 🙂

Fall Potpourri - Housepitality Designs

I love it when I post about my sunroom. Why??

Because that is when my desk in the room gets cleaned and organized!

Sunroom - Desk - Housepitality Designs

I am happy with the way the sunroom is decorated for Fall this year

with the more subtle colors of Fall.

But then again, it makes me so happy to see the brilliant colors

of the reds, oranges and yellows that fill the landscapes with the magnificent beauty of Fall.
