Let the Summer Decorating Begin

Where has Spring gone?

The older I get, the more I tend to savor each season,

as they go by so quickly. So in a blink of an eye, Spring has passed us by

and Summer is here.

Therefore . . . . Let the summer decorating begin.

For some reason I always start in the sunroom.

How Houseplants Can Enhance Your Decor

I have always loved plants in my home.

The feeling of bringing the outside in, is not only just pleasing to the eye,

but very healthy too,  as they actually can clean the air!

When others need pet sitters when they travel,

I need plant sitters! I have many!

When watering plants the other week before leaving on a trip,

I realized how houseplants can enhance your decor. It truly does mine.

I love the color and texture that they add.

Let’s start in the foyer.

Enjoying My Upper Back Porch Dressed for Spring

It took me two days of cleaning so that I could  refresh my upper back porch.

Although it was not a pleasant task of cleaning the furniture cushions

and the porch area of the pollen that had fallen while I was away . . .

it was worth it, as I am so enjoying my upper back porch dressed for Spring!

I adorned the porch with lots of happy Spring flowers that I purchased

from various garden centers.

Tidbits of Spring in the Kitchen

Hope you all enjoyed your First Day of Spring yesterday.

I have been traveling and a bit in the vacation mode.

While my hubby holds down the fort, I will be visiting my mom while

my brother and sister-in-law are away, as she lives with them,

so my posts may be a bit sporadic the next couple of weeks

and will include some happenings with my mom.

Good thing she does not mind getting in front of the camera.

Today, I shall bring you some Tidbits of Spring in the Kitchen.
