Just finished one of the tablescapes in the Great Room. I changed out the ribbon from last year to coordinate with the new ribbons I will be using. Instead of using my usual hurricane candle holder, I am using three pillar candles. My colors this year for the Great Room will be green, gold, and white, with a touch of red.
I added the faux crystal deer (Raz) and changed out the hurricane lamp to the trio of pillar candlesticks. The Waterford bowl is a constant on the table. It was a birthday gift from my brother 10 years ago and it is very special to me. I love that I can enjoy it everyday.
A closer look…
A closer view of the swag/ribbon. I used a pre-decorated swag (the ones with just the typical few ornaments)…I added more ornaments and adornments, ribbon, and turned it on its side and wrapped it around the candlesticks and bowl.
A view from the other side of the table..Stay tuned for more tablescapes in this room!
Very pretty. I especially like the glass deer.
That’s beautiful, Shirley. I love the swag between the pillar candles.
I left my original career to open my decorating business, too. We have a lot in common. You definitely made the right move – you can see from these photos how talented you are!! Happy to be a new follower 🙂
