Simply Stated Winter Mantle

A little at a time I am putting away the Christmas decorations. The Christmas mantle was “dismantled” and up went the “Winter Mantle”..Over the weekend I ran across a few bargains at Pottery Barn. One of those bargains was a pair of candlesticks. Originally marked $99.00 each and marked down to $32.99, woo hoo!! So up they went on the mantle. Enjoy!

This is the before..The Christmas Woodland Mantle

This is the after..The Simply Stated Winter Mantle

I started out by placing white (previously used on mantle) and brown ice covered branches in a clear vase filled with faux snow.

I then added two mercury glass acorn finials and branches of pine cones with snow and a couple of winter birds that I have used in my Christmas scapes.

The beautiful candlestick I bought at Pottery Barn on clearance. Added more pine stems with a little bling.

Close up of the mercury glass acorn and a winter bird.

Just thought I would throw in a cute picture of my granddaughter standing in front of the huge and beautiful
Gingerbread House in the lobby of the Grand Floridian in Disney World.

Hope you enjoyed my Simply Stated Winter Mantle and would love to know what you think, so leave a comment if you so desire. Thank you!!

I created a new Party Banner and i am sending it. Its more cleaned up and your URL is spelled right this time. I will work on a smaller button for the sidebar tonight too. I am very excited.

I need your help in some of your searches and shopping trips. I am looking for a decent sized painting/picture of some bunnies. Kinda French looking, i.e bunnies in the bardyard. I love Wilbur for the Fall and Winter months, but I want a Bunny print for the Spring and Summer months. I know, silly huh? Its just something I have in my head. So, if you can find something for about $20 that would be great. haha

    Hugs my new friend! Barb

  7. You could seriously make a whole career out of vignettes and tablescapes – you’re so talented!!!!

  8. Oh I so love the whole mantel. It’s so wintery fresh. The white birds to the greenery and candlestick are totally awesome.

  9. I like your Christmas mantel and I like your winter mantel. I have yet to pull off a winter mantel this year. Somehow putting away all of the Christmas decos took a lot out of me and I have yet to redo certain spaces. Yours is quite inspirational. Awesome candlestick holders at a great price. I was at PB over the weekend and didn’t do nearly as well. Love that “winter bird”. He definitely adds to the scene. My little birdie collection tends to look very Springy.
