While viewing a post at The Polohouse, she presented a link party on pets. We do not have any pets due to our
hectic schedule and travel. Feel as if we would do a dis-service to any pet. However, we thoroughly enjoy our
granddogs. My son, pretty much has always had 2 dogs. Our first grand dog was a Chocolate Lab. I swear
he really thought he was human. Had an extensive understanding of what we were saying. He was the best,
sweetest, smartest, and most well behaved dog ever.
This summer we lost him..He was 14 years old. He had the typical old age symptoms of not being able to get
around and then cancer. We all miss him terribly and cannot think of him without shedding a tear. So I
would love to share him with you..The following pictures were taken before he passed away.
My son and our beloved granddog taken shortly before he passed away..
Timbre as a young fellow..
My hubby and I with him as he rests under the comfort of the quilt..having a hard time that evening.
His buddy misses him..They used to tear up wrapping paper together at Christmas.
But now he has a new playmate…His name is Tucker..a Schnoodle..Half Schnauzer half Poodle…
Life goes on, but I never thought the loss of a pet, that I didn’t even own, would be hard.
