Top of the Morning Brunch..

Top of the Mornin’ to ya!…I decided to set a brunch table under the pergola today…I will be setting a

larger St. Patrick’s Day Table later this week for my granddaughter’s St. Patrick’s Day Birthday!..

…Yesterday, my hubby hung a small chandelier I bought in the Canton, Georgia..I purchased it at a sort of

…Big Lots store..Everything was an additional 40% off, so I got this chandy for $30…how great was that??

…For $30, I do not mind it being out in the weather…it is just there for ambience..

Hope you enjoy my St. Patty’s Day Brunch table….

A view of the new chandy..

The place setting: Plate and bowl by Farval made in Portugal..Found in HomeGoods
Cup, saucer, cake plate, tray below cake plate, creamer/sugar..made by Shannon..Found in HomeGoods several years ago.

The beautiful Irish Fairy holds a garland of Shamrocks..I bought this soon after my Granddaughter was born..
She is sitting on a cake plate beside a potted Cala Lily

She’s a beauty…just like my Granddaughter..but my precious one has brown hair…

We have a “veranda” type back porch…Cannot wait till the temps get a bit higher sit and rock and sip ice tea!

The vintage linen napkin has shamrocks..too bright to be able to see it clearly…to the left of the fork..

Such a beautiful day in the neighborhood…

To the left of the french doors on the side wall is my future potting bench area..I do say FUTURE!

St. Patrick’s Day is a very special day for our dad was Irish and my beautiful granddaughter was born on St. Patrick’s Day..I would say there was some divine intervention there..

Happy St. Patrick’s Day Everyone! I know I will have many Irish tunes in my head this week..My dad taught me many…so McNamara’s band will be playing loud and strong in my head…

Well, that wasn’t the case in Houston today as it has rained and rained and rained some more. Good deal on the chandelier which adds the perfect touch over your table. Right back at ya’. I would love to be able to hang a chandelier from our pergola, but with our winds it wouldn’t last long. I finally found some green wine glasses for my St. Pat’s table at Dollar Tree. Gotta love those bargains. I like the whimsy the fairy adds to the table, too. Looking forward to your next St. Patty’s Day tablescape. You always do such a nice job.

Your St. Patrick’s Day table is beyond beautiful and the setting of the “porch” as a whole makes
me want to drop everything and just sit awhile:) You have a gift!! So glad that you are sharing
    it!! MJ

  24. Goodness Shirley, I love everything about this post!! Your porch and porch furniture are lovely, as is your chandelier. I just got back from Home Goods and I looked at those Shannon pieces (tea pot, sugar bowl, and creamer). They’re sooo pretty; I kept putting them in my cart and then taking them back out. 🙂 I finally put them back on the shelf and bought something for a few dollars less. I was feeling guilty about buying anything at all, since we are currently having our kitchen renovated (cha-ching).

Anyhoo, your dishes are darling, and I love those vintage linen napkins. Calla Lilies look lovely as your centerpiece, and your Irish fairy is charming. Everything came together for a really pretty table.

I’m now following your blog through Linky Follower. Looking forward to reading your blog. Thanks so much for all your visits recently. I laughed at your comment about the Mitford (Blowing Rock) post. We don’t really shoot tourists — I promise. 🙂
