My Wires Crossed?….

I am joining MARTY FROM A STROLL THRU LIFE…

She is kicking off THE EGG-XELLENT SPRING LINK PARTY..You can join in on the fun HERE…

Unnamed

I thought that I would do something a little different…

I so love all the glass cloches…

While strolling through a very cute shop in Mebane, NC (actually with Suzy of Worthington Court)..I came across
a cute rusty metal “cloche” of sorts and purchased it for the upcoming party…

When I started to gather some material for the cloche, I felt it was a bit too dark for Spring…so I took out
the trusty A.S. Chalk paint and painted away…

So here it is..my crossed wire cloche…did I get my wires crossed?…

Should I have gone with the traditional glass cloche?..

Well, just maybe….as I started placing my “Spring things” in the wire cloche..I then realized
why everyone so loves the glass cloches…SO YOU CAN SEE THINGS THROUGH IT!!!…

Next time, I won’t get “my wires crossed”…..

I gathered all the materials after painting the “crossed wired” cloche…

I placed it on the “potting table” in the sunroom..

Since we are here..I may as well give you a “tour” of the “potting bench”…I am in the process of changing things out shortly..but here it is today…I loved the color of the wicker when I saw it in the showroom..Mfr: Lane

My collection of Japanese fishing floats..a gift from my mom when she visited Alaska…I think I see a stray silk dragonfly in that bowl…compliments of my granddaughter..

Hope to see you at the parties…I am hosting the next party on Friday, March 16th for Spring Tablescapes.

Oh I so love your table and how you have it accessorized. Your potting cloche is just the cutest. I need to remember this. We have a million of those little clay pots and seed packets, this is just way too cute Thanks so much for joining the party. I am already for your turn with my tablescape. Can’t wait. Hugs, Marty

I think the cloche turned out great! I know you can’t see through it as easily as glass, but if I saw it in a room it would draw me in to take a closer look. I love the way you painted it too. The one that I have just like yours is still the original dark brown color and my brain just could envision it painted! Thanks for the mention. The ASCP paint class, lunch and shopping was so much fun!

Well, I just love what you’ve done with your wire cloche! I have one almost like it! Love how you dressed it up to sit on your potting cabinet! Oh, I love that piece and the color is so pretty!

Now that’s cute! You did an egg-xellent job! The wire cloche great! I was just saying on another blog that I can visualize ivy planted and growing out of the wires of one of those cloches! I love your little pots and the seed packet! Cute stuff! Your potting bench is great and I love how you accessorized it!

No, no, I like your wire find and the clever way you have presented it. I share with you a collection of sprinkler cans. Such cute shapes they are. Did you paint any of yours? Clever girl that you are, I wouldn’t be surprised.

I so love the found cloche you found and painted. I have one just like it, mine is not painted though.
I do like it painted white though and love the vignette you created for it. It is a fun item to play with.
