Easter duck and Easter chick, Easter eggs with…..

Oh great…. now I will be singing that song I knew as a child all day!!!

There are so many beautiful Spring and Easter tables out there in blogland…

So many with beautiful themes with flowers, and bunnies and peeps….

Even tho I so love peeps…. I am the only one in our family that would eat them..so best not to buy them…

So I present another first, my first Easter tablescape in blogland…….Hope you enjoy!

In my haste to get the table decorated, I forgot that I had souvenir eggs from the White House Easter Egg Roll

Oh…I just added this pic…I totally forgot…This is the story of the chocolate bunny with no ears!

As a child, I always savored my Easter Basket candies…I ate them slowly..saving the candies for days..
I ate my chocolate bunny last..It drove my sister and mainly my brother crazy as they would eat
their candy quickly…and I still had mine…

One day I went to get my chocolate bunny and finally have the pleasure of eating it…
THE BUNNY EARS WERE GONE!!…..MY BROTHER CONFESSED…

So, as an adult, when I see him at Easter, he gives me a chocolate bunny with the ears bitten off!

Very cute, Shirley! I don’t know that Easter song and being susceptible to ear worms, I think I’m better off! : )

Your brother has a twisted sense of humor. I LIKE that!!! πŸ™‚ I love that you thought to use a magnetic flower on the side of that metal pail!!! That is really great thinking!!! There are so many possibilities there! I’m also crushin’ on the fact that you used those real carrots with their tops still attached! VERY cool!!! The dinner plate design is really great for Spring and Summer. They really look as if you sat down in your studio and handpainted them just for your guests! Congratulations on your first blog land Easter table!!!

My mom used to eat our bunny ears!

The table is so cute. And I think my favorite are those little bunny candles …

Good for you for doing the tablescape thing. I just don’t have a knack for it. I think it goes hand-in-hand with that flower arranging gene that I don’t have …

Wow Shirley! Your tablescape is so great, I love all of the mixtures of textures, and your arrangement in the hurricane is so beautiful.

And I did the same thing with my candy…I do love delayed gratification. But one year my dog at it all on the first night and I got in trouble for eating it when I wasn’t supposed to. πŸ™

Thanks so much for the link party shout out. Enjoy the rest of your week,
