Oh great…. now I will be singing that song I knew as a child all day!!!
There are so many beautiful Spring and Easter tables out there in blogland…
So many with beautiful themes with flowers, and bunnies and peeps….
Even tho I so love peeps…. I am the only one in our family that would eat them..so best not to buy them…
So I present another first, my first Easter tablescape in blogland…….Hope you enjoy!
The place setting…dinner plate from HomeGoods..accessories from various gift shops years ago…
Goblet, American Fostoria
Stood a little bunny candle next to this cute bunny and all perched on the napkin…
The metal flower on the watering can is a magnet…
I purchased the carrot pitcher from HomeGoods and filled it with organic carrots with their tops…
Had these mossy bunnies for years..the hurricane is the Leah Hurricane from Pottery Barn…
I love the bubbled glass..
The Leah Hurricane by Pottery Barn set on a reticulated cake stand…
The “chick” egg cups were purchased many years ago on clearance at Cracker Barrel on one of our trips….
I so love the flower magnet I purchased from a local garden center..will need to go back for more…
In my haste to get the table decorated, I forgot that I had souvenir eggs from the White House Easter Egg Roll
White House Easter Eggs from 2004 and 2006
White House Easter Eggs from 2001 and 2004
White House Easter Egg from 2004
I wish each and everyone of you a very Happy Easter!!!
Oh…I just added this pic…I totally forgot…This is the story of the chocolate bunny with no ears!
As a child, I always savored my Easter Basket candies…I ate them slowly..saving the candies for days..
I ate my chocolate bunny last..It drove my sister and mainly my brother crazy as they would eat
their candy quickly…and I still had mine…
One day I went to get my chocolate bunny and finally have the pleasure of eating it…
THE BUNNY EARS WERE GONE!!…..MY BROTHER CONFESSED…
So, as an adult, when I see him at Easter, he gives me a chocolate bunny with the ears bitten off!

As always, your table is lovely, Shirley. You’ve giben me some ideas for my Easter table.
Happy Easter!
Your brother has a twisted sense of humor. I LIKE that!!! π I love that you thought to use a magnetic flower on the side of that metal pail!!! That is really great thinking!!! There are so many possibilities there! I’m also crushin’ on the fact that you used those real carrots with their tops still attached! VERY cool!!! The dinner plate design is really great for Spring and Summer. They really look as if you sat down in your studio and handpainted them just for your guests! Congratulations on your first blog land Easter table!!!
Love the Easter theme……..the flower magnet is sooo cute……..I may need to get one!!
So gorgeous–I could just get lost in all that gorgeousness. The best I’ve seen this season. highpointcircle
My mom used to eat our bunny ears!
The table is so cute. And I think my favorite are those little bunny candles …
Good for you for doing the tablescape thing. I just don’t have a knack for it. I think it goes hand-in-hand with that flower arranging gene that I don’t have …

What a great, fun table you have set! Love the pitcher but especially love the story:) The dinner plates are gorgeous. How did you do that napkin fold? XO, Pinky
Very cheery tablescape! I especially love the touches of moss. Happy Easter to you and your family!
Hugs,
Jann
Wow Shirley! Your tablescape is so great, I love all of the mixtures of textures, and your arrangement in the hurricane is so beautiful.
And I did the same thing with my candy…I do love delayed gratification. But one year my dog at it all on the first night and I got in trouble for eating it when I wasn’t supposed to. π
Thanks so much for the link party shout out. Enjoy the rest of your week,
Karah
Your vignettes and tablescapes are elegant, inviting, and breath taking. The colours are just fabulous. Thank you for this wonderful post! I would love it if you would share this at our Whatβs It Wednesday blog party. Hope to see you there. Kiss Ralphie for me. π
