Lavender and Homespun

I changed out the centerpiece today.

DSC_1007

From my shells and candles…and upside down candlesticks turned flower vases…

…..to lavender and homespun.

The wooden box of lavender that proudly sits upon the beautiful homespun tea towel.

A tea towel that I purchased from my friend….from the antique fair…..

So until the lavender starts screaming…take me outside…..

…..I shall enjoy them and their beautiful fragrance.

And then, I may have to heed to the dry species…

Lavender and homespun…what couldn’t be better?….

I am threading my loom to weave some tea/hand towels. They will be much like the ones shown in your friends booth. This is a project I’ve been wanting to do for some time and, hopefully, the pattern I have designed will be successful. Yours is the perfect backdrop for your lovely box.

It’s amazing how changing the centerpiece gives the room a whole different look and feel. I recently got some french lavender for my front yard and the fragrance is magnificent. You must love walking into that beautiful kitchen/dining room each day. Gorgeous, just fabulous.

Love with a capital “L” that wooden box. I found a BEE-utiful blue painted box the other day at the Garden Center and kicked myself for not getting it. It was only $33. I see a trip coming end of the week to see if it is still there. LOL You cannot go wrong with lavender. You could stick lavender in a coffee can and it would be pretty. heehee You’re vintage tea towel is just lovely! What a wonderful combination.
