Fall Front Porch…Monogrammed Burlap Wreaths

The wreaths are up…the porch has ushered in Fall…

…..but I am certain that I will be doing more tweaking here and there.

My friend Frances did it again…

…..she monogrammed an initial on burlap for my fall wreaths.

DSC_4653

Thanks Frances…they turned out great…

I placed the burlap monogram on a quilter’s hoop…

…..and added some Fall embellishments on the side.

I love my faux pumpkin with the pineapple…

…..got it about 6 years ago in Colorado of all places…

……….my friend Linda bought one too!

DSC_4632

I am keeping the porch simple…may add a few more pumpkins when the temps are cooler…

…..and a few Fall pillows.

DSC_4639

We have had quite a bit of rain lately, so the mums are doing well.

I love this little guy…

And the turtle always makes an appearance…

I love placing flowers on the steps to welcome friends and family

I hope you enjoyed my simple Fall porch…..

…..wanted to show you what I have done so far….as next week I will be running the roads…

……….taking care of lots of errands…preparing for…

Your monogramed burlap hoops are a hit. I don’t know if I have hoops in that shape but going to try to make something similiar to yours. They are so simple but very sophisticated, beautiful. How did your friend Frances do the monograming? Sewn or painted? Love your home & porch.

Rhonda…I gave my friend Frances who has a monogramming business a couple of yards of burlap fabric and she monogrammed the large letter on the burlap…I then bought a quilters/embroidery hoop and placed the fabric on the hoop…Hope that helps!

It all looks so beautiful, Shirley! I love those burlap monogram hoop wreaths! Such a great idea for a covered front door. I wish I had seen this before I bought a berry wreath last week. That would actually work great for hanging between a main door and storm door, since there isn’t much depth for some of those fully decorated wreaths. Your mums look great. Very welcoming! I’m pinning. : )

I wish I had french doors on the front like you. I LOVE french doors with matching wreaths etc. I don’t think you need to do anything extra as it is perfect the way it is. We just built a new home and I’m blessed to have a large front porch but it’s kinda overwhelming to decorate. I posted my vignette but it’s seems so small on the big front area. I love how you filled up your area without getting it overdone. BTW I’m a quilter so I’m absolutely loving the quilt hoop wreath! Was it monogrammed with thread or with paint ?
