Christmas Wreaths Throughout the House

I love wreaths…wreaths on doors and wreaths on windows…

…..and wreaths on mirrors…and anything that stays still…

……….and that is why is hubby is in constant motion, so he won’t get “decorated”…

Here are my front door wreaths..

…..those are the only Christmas decorations I have outside for now.

This weekend, we shall be (or should I say my hubby) will be decorating the outside of the house….

…..more wreaths to hang…

The dining room wreath will be hung on a piece of gingerbread trim this year…

And the wreath that is on the mantel this year…

…..I placed my wooden monogram on my cotton wreath that I made.

I have made all the wreaths in my home with the exception of the front door and dining room wreaths…

The silver and white wreath that is in the master bathroom window…

I wait until after Christmas and I hit the gift shops that sell the higher end ribbons…

…..I usually get them for 75% off and when they are $40 to $50 per roll, that is a significant savings!

This wreath of copper and gold florals and ribbon hangs on a closet door in the media room…

…..I tend to use the copper and gold tones in this room.

I purchased this beautiful ribbon on sale after Christmas…my favorite thing to do!

This wreath of hydrangeas and green sheer ribbon hangs on the mirror in the large guest room…

I made this years ago…

The wreath in the small guest bathroom has garlands of “presents”…

A simple wreath of a bow and “jingle bell” sprays hangs on the door of the small guest room…

…..and here is another wreath that I made for our Craft/Artisan show…the first one I sold.

I have a few more wreaths to hang…

…..but the rooms are not ready for them just yet…

Please come back and see where they land!…

Hope you enjoyed the “wreath tour”….

Beautiful display of your wreaths Shirley, love them all. Making wreath can be so much fun and hopefully not burn yourself with a glue gun.

Gorgeous wreaths!!! You are tempting me to throw fate to the wind, crawl out of this bed and get my cough-and-cold-infected hips downstairs to play with creating more for our own home!!! You have some really pretty ones. I’m with you on buying the pricey ribbons and ornaments at the end of the season. It’s a bonus that you get a good percentage off AND get to have an early Christmas the following year with all the new goodies!

Wow! Your wreaths are all so gorgeous! I love the rich glittery ribbon used on them. Looks like your after Christmas sales are paying off. I have always loved your french front doors. I love the look of double wreaths on them. Can’t wait to see the rest when it’s finished.

Shirley, your wreaths are lovely. I happen to love the Hydrangea Wreath very much. Those are my all time favorite flower. No matter what the season is they just seem to compliment anything.

Wow! Your wreaths are gorgeous — they look SO much more beautiful than anything that can be bought in a store. And I love that you spread them out to different rooms of your house. How neat to have a bit of Christmas in every room. ๐Ÿ™‚

All your wreaths are gorgeous Shirley! I’m hard pressed to chose a favorite but I think it might be your copper one with the glittery band of ribbon. I had some from Raz in red and apple green that I loved and used in a garland that I carefully wound up each year but it still shed glitter ๐Ÿ™‚ Looking forward to seeing the exterior of your home with your wreaths! Happy Decking the Halls to you!
