A Christmas Table Vignette

I have been very busy decorating each room of my home…

I seem to go from one room to another, not completely finishing one room…

Focus, I need to focus…

With the exception of the 12 foot tree, the living room is just about complete…

…..and here is one of the tables..

I am using less red in this room this year…

…..going with more touches of silver, white, and cream..

I made the swag over the mirror…and hung mercury glass ornaments from it…

The house and mercury glass trees were purchases from HomeGoods this year…

…..and I purchased the birds last year after Christmas on clearance from Summer Classics.

I love birds and use them in my decor all year round…

I added baskets several months ago to the bottom shelf…

…..and I placed my “one dollar” after Christmas ornaments on the front of them..

I have many more vignettes to show you….

As I love creating vignettes all year long…

….and I am sure you do too!!!

Thanks so much for visiting!!!….

It looks so pretty, Shirley! I do the same thing ~ because sometimes you take something out of the bin and think it would look great in another room and then get focused on that room. It’s a wonder any of us get our decorating done before Christmas! : )

  3. I love the bins under the table top with those beautiful snowflake ornaments on them. Everything looks so pretty.

  4. Now I know why you bought that cute house when we were in HomeGoods the other day! It works perfectly for your gorgeous vignette. Is that a new table? I love the glittered ornaments mixed with the natural baskets. Gorgeous! Can’t wait to see more!!!

  18. I love what you did to bring those baskets into the season! Really creative! Don’t worry about not being able to focus. That’s the sign of a creative mind! When creative brains get going, focus is often out of reach! There are so many ideas bouncin’ around up in there…it’s a miracle if you get through at least half of what you start once that train pulls outta the station! 🙂 Great job on the mirror swag, too!

  19. Wow Shirley! The house looks just beautiful. I haven’t put anything up yet but I hope to soon, hubby just brought all the stuff down from the attic. I guess I can’t focus yet either:) The colors are perfect too. A nice change from the standard red and green!

  22. I so look forward to the beautiful decorative vignettes you create each year! Just when I think you cant top the previous year you always surprise me! I am loving the baskets you placed on your bottom shelf. What a great way to fill the space by creating storage and adding texture at the same time. You are just too clever… It’s hard to choose but I think my fav is the mercury glass ornaments you hung from the swag…
