Kitchen Chandeliers and Tidbits and an “Apron Swap”

I started decorating today at o’dark thirty…

It seems to be a pattern lately, trying to complete the decorating…

… that I can move forward with shopping, cards, and party preps.

First thing this morning I tackled the kitchen and sunroom chandeliers…

I decorated the kitchen island chandy with florals and picks and stems…

…..and two beaded garlands of bells..

I have had these garlands of bells for a few years now…

…..using them in different places each year.

“I heard the bells on Christmas Day..the old familiar carols play…”….

A close up of the floral picks…

…..I have splashes of red in the kitchen and sun room…so these do well in the chandy..

Now on to the sunroom…

…..I added ornaments to the arms of the candelabra and placed floral picks at the base.

I bought the ornaments when visiting the Biltmore House in Asheville…they had a great sale!

Here is my cookie cutter tree…placed in a mini colander..

I fill some of my covered jars with candy ornaments…

….and sugared fruit…bells shaped into a bunch of grapes lay in the jar with the wine corks!

And now we move on to the other side of the kitchen….

…..a decorated covered jar with pears and cranberries…a Byers Caroler..”The Milk Maid”

……….a watercolor of cherries by my friend Martha…

……………crystal pineapples hang from beneath the cabinetry.

What’s a kitchen without Mr. and Mrs. Claus Lenox Salt and Pepper Shakers!!

And another thing I need to do….CLEAN THE SILVER!!!

A swag on the range hood…

And Katherine of Katherine’s Corner had an “Apron Swap” a while ago…

…..and here is the apron I received….It is so cute!!!

I placed it on my A&P vintage grocery cart to show you!

I received it from Susie of

Thanks Susie!!!..

So there is most of my kitchen decor…the take out chefs were featured in this post….

Have a wonderful day!!…and I leave you with my favorite item…

A gift from my niece…
