A New Table Vignette

Well, the table is not new…

…..but there’s a new vignette in town….with new “sticks”

The Pottery Barn Gift Card from my niece was burning a hole in my wallet…

…..so Merry and I did our trek to Pottery Barn.

They set aside a our “personal register” when they see us coming through the door!

…..Seriously!!

Now…pay no attention to the silhouette…

…..of the reflection of the Christmas tree in the mirror!

These candlesticks have been around for a while….

…..and I took advantage of their sale!

I placed a faux boxwood topiary ball on the top…

…..but it looked too small.

So I placed another on top…and made it larger…more to scale.

DSC_7458

DSC_7459

I twisted the wired handle into a heart shape…

…..my very first Valentine decor of this year.

DSC_7460

And you know how much I love birds…

…..they have made an encore from Christmas.

DSC_7456

DSC_7465

DSC_7457

A empty bird nest is cradled below the candlesticks…

…..waiting for Spring.

DSC_7463

I love “shopping the house”…

…..relocating the accessories…

The only “new kids in town” are the candlesticks.

DSC_7464

In keeping with the post Christmas/Winter theme…

…..I kept the “magnetic snowflake” on the lamp shade.

I love these magnetic accessories…will have to create some of these!

DSC_7466

So here is another area finally cleared of the Christmas decorations…

…..working on adding Valentine decor to the front of the baskets.

More “undecorating” and “redecorating” today.

Thanks for visiting me today…!!…I so appreciate your company!!

Have a wonderful day!!

Pretty! I love that you bent the wire into a heart shape. What a great idea. I’m bringing out the birds and bird nests too.

LOVE the candlesticks. Your all white table is just beautiful and very wintery in some ways, too. Don;t worry, my tree is still up too. This is the first day since Dad’s stroke that I have had at home. A part of me just wants to sit here and spend the day doing nothing, but its Jan 23rd and that tree has to come down!!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Sometimes it just takes us a little longer than others to get our Christmas stuff packed away! ๐Ÿ™‚ I know there was one year that I was still pulling it down just a few days before Mardi Gras!!!!!! I LOVE what you’ve done on this table! It looks beautiful! I have some of those magnetic accessories, but not in a fun shape like yours! That really adds something special to the lamp shade! Good thinking on the boxwood. If at first you don’t succeed….!!! ๐Ÿ˜‰ The folks at Z Gallerie used to get my own personal register going for me. I haven’t shopped in so long, they have probably forgotten me! ๐Ÿ™ Good luck with the continued undecorating and redecorating!!!

My name is Amy, and I’m addicted to birds, too!

I’d say we need help with our bird addiction, but they’re so darn cute. Let’s keep decorating with them, no matter the season!

I’m looking forward to our shopping trip next month. No Pottery Barn, but I’m sure we’ll manage to do some damage.

I also wish PB was nearer to me, but Jeff doesn’t!! Very pretty table vignette. We see no birds helre during winter so I used evergreens, pine cones, antlers and an iron deer head for my winter decorating. But, I will probably decorate for Valentine’s Day next week. Love the way you bent the wire into a heart.

Hi Shirley! Unfortunately for my pocketbook I have three Pottery Barns within a very quick drive. It’s so much fun to visit there and impossible to come out empty handed. Your birdies are so cute. I should be shopping my house more–thanks for the reminder. Today I am trying to finish up the “undecorating!” Linda

Your vignette is so lovely! Just the right amount of white, green and brown to please the eye and look winter-y. The cute little nest and terrific wire heart speak to “seasons to come”. I especially liked seeing your Christmas tree reflected! I love seeing others who take their time getting Christmas packed away.

OOH I love your vignette! Everything on there is great! I love Pottery Barn. I wish I had one close to me. They are so polite and accomodating! I always feel special when I buy something from them. I just ordered a white pedastal bowl. That’s a very cool lamp you have there! Love the style/shape and finish! I like how you tied in the birds and the birds nest together and that little bottle with the heart piece is too cute.
