With the exception of the Master Bedroom and the laundry room and pantry…
…..I pretty much covered the first floor of the house in Part 1..
Did you remember my question about something that seemed to be a constant in the house?
…..It was not in every room, but in quite a few.
Guess the constant for a chance to win a prize.
So let’s see the remainder of this “dream home”….
The master bedroom was a bit smaller than most of the home tours that I have seen…
….but it was actually an adequate space.
Most of the rooms were cordoned off…so tried to get as close as I could…to get details…
Well, this certainly was a bit over exposed!…
I loved this collection…
This kind gentleman was there to greet me!!…:)
This was one of my favorite rooms…love the color and fabrics.
Now moving on to the guest rooms…..
I also noticed the use of lots of faux plants and flowers….
…..on the decorators “what not to do” list…but they were beautiful…and enhanced the areas.
I love the new painted furniture from Ethan Allen…love how they have taken the older traditional styles…
…..and painted them with updated colors.
I loved this spa like guest bath…
Now on to the other guest bedroom…
…..I am calling them guest rooms as they were not decorated for any specific person/theme as a boys or girls room.
I love these prints…(from Ethan Allen)
The following 2 photos are of the Guest Bath of the Guest Room #2…
…..there were so many people in this area, that I only was able to get a couple of shots..
And do you remember the Kids’ Retreat when you first get to the second floor?
No pillow fights allowed in the space!!…
Even the dog has a pretty space…
Part of the garage space was dedicated to a Rec Area…
There were beautiful views from all vantage points of the house…
There was a great space to entertain…
I have an outdoor tea cart similar to this one…never thought to put a wooden container of fruit on it…
There seemed to be many places on the wrap around back deck to enjoy the views…
Hope you enjoyed this tour of this beautiful dream vacation home…
And since my hubby could not swing a vacation house on this island….
…..he got me the next best thing….
An HGTV T-Shirt!!!…
So…do you remember my question about a “constant” that was throughout many of the rooms?…Not in every room…
….but quite a few..
So, if you can guess the “constant” there will be a prize of a $25.00 Pottery Barn Gift Card.
…..in the case that there are more than one correct answer…the names will go in a hat for a drawing.
Please do not reveal your answer in a comment…send me an email that is noted in the “contact me” section…
Just leave me a comment saying that you will tell me your guess in an email…
Good luck!!!
REMEMBER…A COMMENT IS NECESSARY TO WIN…JUST LEAVE ME A COMMENT TO SAY THAT YOU WILL BE EMAILING ME WITH YOUR GUESS TO THE QUESTION!!

The bed and bath areas of the home look a bit more traditional in their styling. The master bedroom is beautiful, but I LOVE that guest bedroom #1!!!!!!! I would have to barricade the door so I could stay in there forever!!! 🙂
