A Spring Vignette {Pottery Barn Candlesticks and Leah Hurricane}

I love the versatility of my ceramic Pottery Barn Candlesticks and Leah Hurricane.

I use these pieces in so many different ways.

This vignette went from an Easter theme to Spring.

This table is in the passageway to the kitchen area.

It was originally my sofa table many years ago. It is perfect for this narrow passageway.

You can see part of the kitchen through the doorway.

DSC_9577

As you can see, I used the candlesticks as holders for the topiaries…

I placed reindeer moss at the base of the topiary for some color and texture.

I have used this Leah Hurricane from Pottery Barn in so many different ways…

…..for Easter, I had filled it with my White House Easter Egg Roll Commemorative Eggs.

Now, it holds a bird’s nest and the mother watching over her eggs…

I purchased this pretty Demijohn at the High Point Market..it was a great deal..

…..so I could not wait to place it somewhere in my house…and it landed here.

I love the color and texture it added to the vignette.

This Spring vignette contains many things that I already have with the exception of this new Demijohn

…..and two new books it sits on..The Welcoming House (by Jane Schwab and Cindy Smith)…

………. and Paris Flea Market Style (by Claudia Strasser). Both fabulous books!

The chalkboard print remains on the mirror…I love it there.

While at Trader Joe’s the other day, I spotted this pretty succulent arrangement…it quickly went in my cart!

DSC_9580

Just hoping that this does well in the house…Any tips out there?

Another view…

Thanks for visiting today…I am getting ready for more company today…lifetime friends.

…..Jane from Cottage at the Crossroads has featured my friend Linda a couple of times.

……….One of Linda’s tablescapes and her beautiful deck that overlooks the magnificent Rocky Mountains.

Jane has featured non-blogger/readers’ home decor projects and crafts on her blog..Such a nice feature!

Have a beautiful day!!!

Shirley it is absolutely lovely. Louis Armstrong’s version of What a Wonderful World is one of my favorites. I ordered a copy of the chalkboard print. Hope to pick up a frame today, while we are out for dr appointments. I can’t wait to use display it in our home.

Your never ending vignettes amaze me. You find so many clever ways to use the same pieces and each time they appear totally different. Pottery Barn does well by you.

I could give you a tip on how to maintain your pretty new succulents, but I’m sure it wouldn’t be a GOOD tip and the whole thing would succumb within a week! ๐Ÿ™‚ I go with good fauxs because there’s no way I’m keepin’ much of anything alive in this house…at least not for very long!!!

PB has some of the coolest stuff around. You just cannot go wrong when you include anything from that store in a vignette. Your imagination and creativity just take it that extra mile. The space looks great!!!!!!!

Very pretty! You are so good about changing things up. My poor little table in the entrance tends to stay the same. I must fix that! ๐Ÿ™‚

Love the whole vignette. So many great uses for those candlesticks. Love the topiaries on them. My new book should be coming today, I hope and I love the Paris one, too. Enjoy your guests.

Shirley I love this table and all of your perfect accessories. You probably mentioned it in another post…where did you find the topiaries atop the candlesticks?

I love your new vignette, Shirley. I really like the way you added the moss at the base of the topiaries. I have no business giving advice on living plants of any kind, so good luck with those! ๐Ÿ™‚

It looks really nice, Shirley! I do love that chalkboard print. It’s nice when you have things that you can utilize in different ways throughout the year. The white pieces look so fresh for Spring and the warmer months.

Shirley, you have this vignette thing down! I often struggle with making a perfect vignette. What a brilliant idea to use candlesticks as risers for your topiaries! So so fetching!!! As usual coming to visit is a chance to leave so inspired! xo

Shirley, that is so pretty! I love all the shades of white and green. Your houseplants are beautiful! Your pretty chalkboard reminds me I HAVE to get something cute written on mine! It’s just an empty chalky mess at the moment. Thanks so much for sharing this lovely vignette. I love it.

This looks so pretty Shirley…I have those exact topiaries. I never thought about putting them in something to give them more height. Thank you for the inspiration!
