Hope everyone has had a wonderful week!..
Today’s project is “ever so clever AND ever so pretty”.
My inspiration for this week came from the talented and creative Laura, of Finding Home.
Laura’s blog is truly one of my favorites…I have been following her as long as I have been blogging.
I am sure that most of you are familiar with Laura’s beautiful home…her projects are always amazing.
So, here is my project today!
A nailhead trimmed table with a vinyl top..
Here is the beautiful table that Laura made….and love the vignette too!!
I started out with this $5.00 yard sale find and painted it with ASCP Old White…
I added blue vinyl and nailhead trim that came in a roll..yes, a roll.
…..you place a tack in a designated hole about every 5th tack…cool beans!!
You can probably tell by my photos that I did this project at night…
When I was purchasing tacks for this project, the girl at the fabric store showed me this “roll of tacks”….
…..and of course the individual tacks went back to the bin and this roll of tacks was perfect.
The trim went on beautifully.
This table landed in my guest room bath…
…..I love it here.
Taking pics in this room is a challenge as there is no natural light in this room.
So I thank you so much Laura for my inspiration today…you inspire me everyday!!!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

What a great job you did! The roll of tacks is genius. I love your guest bath. So pretty. Have a great weekend. I am off to the POOL!!!!!!!!!!!! YIPPEE!!!!
This is darling!
Looks great. I need to get some tacks to add to a bench.
I need you to come to my house. I’m sure we could find lots of projects to keep you busy when you finish at your house. Love the addition of tacks to the table.
Very cute project. I really think the rolls with the tacks is so perfect and so much easier to deal with. Looks great and I follow Laura too. Enjoy your weekend!

The table is really lovely, and it works so well in your bathroom.
Oh I just love this. Great with that vinyl top too.
Your little table is so pretty, Shirley. Great makeover!
Great project, especially when you use a $5 garage sale table. That role of nail head trim sure makes the project super simple.
Wonderful idea, Shirley. My neighbor gave me some of those nail heads. I might do something like this with them. Looks beautiful next to your tub.
I just LOVE it, Shirley. If I bring my own bag can I move into your guest bathroom and just live there? It is GORGEOUS!!!! xo Diana
That turned out very lovely! Love the nailhead trim!
Love this!!! I wish I could fine the nailhead trim in a roll!! Excellent!~~Angela
I’ve yet to try using nailheads, but I sure do want to. Especially after seeing this adorable table. Great job, Shirley!
Two VERY enthusiastic thumbs up, Shirley!!! You did a very nice job with this table, and it looks like brand new!!! You aren’t afraid to tackle ANY restoration or transformation project, are you? Love it!
Great job, Shirley! Your table looks so charming in your bathroom!
Susan
What a fun and pretty transformation, Shirley! Individual tacks are very time consuming; glad you discovered this little secret. I’ve used both methods- just depends on the look I’m after.

What a great project and inspiration Shirley! I love the shape of your yard sale-find table~ the vinyl and nailhead trim are the perfect touch!
So adorable, and hand in the bath, too! Looks like a fun and simple project, just what I need.
Thanks for the inspiration.
Hugs,
Patti
Very cute bath idea… Love it…
Hello! I think your table looks wonderful–what a great transformation! I was especially interested to see the guest towels from the Carolina Inn–made me wonder if you like anywhere close to Chapel Hill! I live in Durham. It’s so nice to meet you!
That’s a great way to dress up a small plain table! I really love it. The vinyl will protect it from the water too.
LOVE your table, Shirley! I saw this when Laura first made it and I love yours, too!
Happy day friend!
What?? That is gorgeous and looks so professional Shirley! I love the color of the top. How pretyt it looks in your guest bath.
Shirley, you totally transformed this table! Wow! I love the color and your choice of blue for the top was perfect! I have seen these tack strips, but have never tried them; now, I’m inspired! It’s adorable!
Shirley, this is an amazing project, I am getting all kinds of inspiration!!
Excited to get some of the rolled nail-head trim! So smart!

Wow – Shirley, it looks great! Sorry for my delay in seeing it – I was off the grid for a few days! Thanks so much for sharing my project as well! Take care, Laura
Great yard sale find. We must go yard saling together one day. “For the booth,” of course!
Wonder if the sales are better in your neck of the woods or mine.
And did you steal those hand towels from the Carolina Inn? :()
