I am slowly making some small changes in my master bedroom…
I have a dresser that has a “matchy” mirror.
I tried to “hide” that fact by placing a large birdcage in front of the dresser.
It did the trick..but it was time for a change.
This area seemed to be the perfect fit.
I bought this birdcage a few years ago at our neighborhood yard sale.
It actually has two additional sections that you can add to the bottom portion.
I added an orchid from Trader Joe’s to the vignette and placed it in a vintage American Fostoria vase.
The Leah Hurricane from Pottery Barn remains on the table…
In the morning when the sun is shining through the windows…
…..there are beautiful little reflections of rainbow colors on the wall.
They are from my Swarovski Crystals that hang in my windows..
I so enjoy this “mini light show” every morning…just starts the day off on a happy note!
And I hope your day started out on a happy note too!!!

It looks gorgeous, Shirley. This reminds me I have several birdcages downstairs. They are dark brown. I should paint them. I love your white cage.
That is a beautiful birdcage, Shirley! I have seen some lovely ornate ones recently, but they were a bit rich for my budget {even at an estate sale and a fellow vendor where I have my booth}. Plus, I don’t have room for a big one. I do have two that I love. I just put a fern {still alive!} inside the one in our sunroom.
Shirley, your birdcage is beautiful; and fills the space wonderfully! You always create such pretty vignettes!
It’s beautiful:) Great vignette. I love that the birdcage was a garage sale find.
Shirley I really am loving that birdcage! Great vignette and I also really like that wreath handing on the mirror.
Cynthia
Shirley, I found a big bird cage similar to yours at a garage sale for $15.00, boy did I grabbed that quick. I like how you painted it white. think and I will paint mine as it is a ugly green color.
Love the crystal sparkles on the wall. Your vignette is fabulous.
Have a Happy Day!
Mary
I love your wreath….did you make it? I have garland from HobLob that matches your wreath and I am currently using it to make a wreath.
Love, love, love this. It is beautiful. I have a huge birdcage too. May have to use is differently than I have it now. Thanks for sharing.
How pretty, Shirley! I love your birdcage! I wish I could find treasures like that at our garage sales! Truly beautiful vignette!~~Angela
Your change looks great Shirley…now I can’t wait to see what else you’ve been up too!
As always, very pretty. I think I like it better in its new location close to your sunroom. Do I detect a little paint job on the pineapple sconces?
Nice vignette and your second photo is not showing.
Looks nice! Dropping by from Met Monday. Hope you’ll come see my grandson’s playroom.

That looks great and you lost the matchy-matchy look! I love that birdcage and the whole set up pulled together beautifully. Love your rainbows, too. xo Diana
The mirror looks nice in it’s new location. The bird cage works perfectly in your home with all of your other nature inspired décor too.
Love your mini light show too! And that birdcage wow…you were lucky the day you found that at a garage sale! 😉
Shirley, your birdcage looks perfect in its new home! Love the whole vignette!

Love your birdcage, what a great new treasure.

How very pretty – and HUGE! I’m glad you had a space for it.
Everything looks beautiful!
That birdcage was a fabulous find Shirley! You’re fortunate to have not one but two places it will work.
The light the crystals make is stunning! At our rental, we have a little peep hole in the front door, and believe it or not it makes a rainbow light across the hall on the wall. Very cool.
That birdcage is magnificent, Shirley!!!! What a beautiful vignette. The little bird in front of it looks so cute!
Your white birdcage is really pretty Shirley! I love the baskets too.
I love the birdcage! And I really love that lamp on the table too…it’s gorgeous!!
This looks lovely, Shirley! I love your birdcage and how you’ve styled your space!
The white birdhouse is so pretty. I remember selling a dark one that I now wish I’d kept and painted since I’ve seen yours.
I especially like the wreath on the mirror. Is it a faux boxwood wreath?
Many thanks for your response.
Love your birdcage vignette Shirley!
I saw the note from Kim on FB. Please know I am thinking about you ♥
Really pretty, as always. You do such a great job changing out your entry way. I bet people love to walk in the door.
