Fall Vignette {Farmer’s Market Love}

I love the Farmer’s Market during the Fall Season…

…..the many varieties of pumpkins, gourds, and seasonal fruits and vegetables.

All of those wonderful things to bring home to create a Fall Vignette for the Great Room.

Flowers and pumpkins purchased at the Farmers’ Market….

…..So great to be able to support our local farms here.

Fall Vignette 2013

I am now so hooked on the flowers there…not only are they beautiful…

…..they are also extremely reasonable in price.

I discovered a flower vendor there that loves to incorporate herbs with the flowers…

…..they make the bouquet smell so wonderful!

Next time…the fireplace will be lit….

In the meantime…hope you enjoyed today’s Fall Vignette…

That is beautiful and I wish we had a farmer’s market like that around here. I think everything is closer to Atlanta. I still need to do the front porch too.

This is gorgeous, Shirley. I am envious of your farmers market. What a wonderful place!

I have, somewhere in the basement boutique, a pewter advertising pineapple shaped tray. I should see if I can find it. I love how you have the pumpkins in the pineapple.

Another great fall vignette, Shirley. I agree that the silver works well with the fall colors and natural elements. I noticed the price on the gourds…3/$2. Ours were $2 each at the Harvest Farm yesterday. I bought them for the stems ( you know what I mean by that). I am putting them in my vignette by the front door and for that price I’m hoping they survive the predicted snow tomorrow!

Everything looks so pretty, Shirley. Like you, I love our State Farmer’s Market. We frequent it quite often. They have so many wonderful offerings.

Have you tried the small local farmer’s market on Highway 55? It is just a couple of miles off of I-40. I think they only open on Saturday mornings, and we go almost every week. It is a great place to get locally grown vegetables, meats, cheeses, baked goods, pasta, eggs … There are probably about two dozen vendors, and everyone is so nice.

Shirley, that looks like you have an awesome farmer’s market! We had a great one when we lived in VA, but the one in my town now is pretty small. Although you can get live lobsters caught that morning, which is pretty cool!

I love the sterling silver with the glass dome; it’s a great combination. And I love how you placed that beautiful little pumpkin in the green moss inside the little silver bowl. Really beautiful, Shirley.

Gorgeous!!!!! That flower bundle is amazing. I love the Raleigh Farmer’s Market too. I usually try to make the trip up to get my Fall pumpkins and corn and such but it didn’t happen this year. I bet it is quite the spectacle. Hope you are well.

What a beautiful Fall vignette, Shirley! The flowers are gorgeous … full of Fall color! And, I love the way you showcased the pumpkins (especially incorporating your silver)! (And, PS: I was so busy taking in your awesome vignette that I didn’t even notice there wasn’t a fire burning until you said something!)
