I love the Farmer’s Market during the Fall Season…
…..the many varieties of pumpkins, gourds, and seasonal fruits and vegetables.
All of those wonderful things to bring home to create a Fall Vignette for the Great Room.
Flowers and pumpkins purchased at the Farmers’ Market….
…..So great to be able to support our local farms here.
I am now so hooked on the flowers there…not only are they beautiful…
…..they are also extremely reasonable in price.
I discovered a flower vendor there that loves to incorporate herbs with the flowers…
…..they make the bouquet smell so wonderful!
So many beautiful varieties of pumpkins and gourds to choose from…
I love the shiny silver against the natural elements…
As I was editing photos, I kept thinking there was something missing…yes, a great fire in the fireplace…
Next time…the fireplace will be lit….
In the meantime…hope you enjoyed today’s Fall Vignette…
Off to create my Fall Front Porch…..
…..I did things backwards by doing my Fall Back Porch first…
Have a wonderful Fall day!!!!

Shirley, this is a lovely vignette! I love the elegance that the silver adds. You always do an amazing job!
That is beautiful and I wish we had a farmer’s market like that around here. I think everything is closer to Atlanta. I still need to do the front porch too.
This is gorgeous, Shirley. I am envious of your farmers market. What a wonderful place!
I have, somewhere in the basement boutique, a pewter advertising pineapple shaped tray. I should see if I can find it. I love how you have the pumpkins in the pineapple.
Another great fall vignette, Shirley. I agree that the silver works well with the fall colors and natural elements. I noticed the price on the gourds…3/$2. Ours were $2 each at the Harvest Farm yesterday. I bought them for the stems ( you know what I mean by that). I am putting them in my vignette by the front door and for that price I’m hoping they survive the predicted snow tomorrow!
Beautiful! What a lovely vignette Shirley!
Everything looks so pretty, Shirley. Like you, I love our State Farmer’s Market. We frequent it quite often. They have so many wonderful offerings.
Have you tried the small local farmer’s market on Highway 55? It is just a couple of miles off of I-40. I think they only open on Saturday mornings, and we go almost every week. It is a great place to get locally grown vegetables, meats, cheeses, baked goods, pasta, eggs … There are probably about two dozen vendors, and everyone is so nice.
Oh wow, Shirley, your pictures are fabulous and your vignettes gorgeous. I love that you used some of your silver and pewter. Great displays. Don’t for get to link up to Inspire Me this afternoon. 2:30 PT. Hugs, Marty
It all looks so pretty together, Shirley! Love how you’ve displayed it all.
Shirley, that looks like you have an awesome farmer’s market! We had a great one when we lived in VA, but the one in my town now is pretty small. Although you can get live lobsters caught that morning, which is pretty cool!

I love the sterling silver with the glass dome; it’s a great combination. And I love how you placed that beautiful little pumpkin in the green moss inside the little silver bowl. Really beautiful, Shirley.
Those flowers are just gorgeous! My goodness, it makes me want to drive 3 hrs to the farmer’s market there! Love that box you scored at the yard sale, too. You find the best things! Looking forward to seeing the front porch!
Gorgeous!!!!! That flower bundle is amazing. I love the Raleigh Farmer’s Market too. I usually try to make the trip up to get my Fall pumpkins and corn and such but it didn’t happen this year. I bet it is quite the spectacle. Hope you are well.
What a beautiful vignette, Shirley! I just picked up some small pumpkins and gourds, as well. Still trying to decide where I’d like to use them. Your flowers are gorgeous, as well. This really sets the tone for Fall!
You certainly have upped the beauty and sophistication of a Fall vignette!!!! This is GORGEOUS and I LOVE it with the silver pieces. VERY well done, bravo!!!
Absolutely gorgeous. I always love seeing what you do. Gorgeous flowers. Love the variety and the gourds and pumpkins are beautiful. Everything is always so well done. Also admiring the beautiful pillows in the background. What is the name of that fabric? Breathtaking!!!
your vignette is very very nice – love it. I can’t believe how reasonable the gourds and pumpkins are at the Farmers Market. Shirley everything looks so pretty with the silver.
Looking forward to your porch…..
Have a great Fall week.
Mary

What a beautiful Fall vignette, Shirley! The flowers are gorgeous … full of Fall color! And, I love the way you showcased the pumpkins (especially incorporating your silver)! (And, PS: I was so busy taking in your awesome vignette that I didn’t even notice there wasn’t a fire burning until you said something!)
Shirley-Everything looks absolutely beautiful. You have put things together in a wonderful way. Love that Autumn is so lovely in your home. Great farmers market pictures, too. xo Diana
Ah, yes, the very picture of autumn abundance! I love Farmer’s Markets, but haven’t had a spare moment to go this year. Boo. It’ll be Christmas before I get there, I fear. ๐
Lovely post, Shirley!

Your fall vignette is lovely, Shirley. Those flowers are gorgeous- I love the idea of adding herbs into the mix.
Shirley,
This is amazing and so pretty. I love the silver with the natural pieces. The flowers are stunning. Great job I cannot wait to see what you do on your porch.

What is it about fall that draws us all in? I went to my favorite farm stand the other day and could hardly control myself there were so many wonderful colors and texture You certainly did your best with what you found.
I love the mix of your natural elements in contrast with your polished silver Shirley! The Farmers’ Market is one of our favorite places to visit on the weekends. I’m ready for fire weather ๐
Beautiful vignette as always… wouldn’t expect anything less! Love the variety of gourds and the flowers are gorgeous. I do agree the natural elements against the silver looks amazing… so rich! Love every detail. So full of inspiration as always!
