I have a very long to do list today…
So I got up this morning at 6a.m. to start on that list…
This tin is from Williams-Sonoma……it contained gingerbread flavored pancake/waffle mix…
—– and it was awesome!
With eyes barely open and my coffee cup in one hand I proceed to start to work…
I have not been to Williams-Sonoma lately (other than the outlet store)…
—– I am hoping they will have this mix this season.
I placed copper leaf stems that I bought last year on clearance…
—– and added stems/picks of greenery.
I felt that the copper stems went well with the tin.
One more arrangement done.
I have 3 more to do..
I also created a wreath this morning..
I used the same copper leaf stems.
I had this gorgeous ribbon that I used on my wall upside down tree last year.
Did I tell that I just love this ribbon?
I buy these beautiful ribbons on sale after Christmas..
—– usually for 75% off…. which is great when a roll is $25.00!!
So here is the finished product.
It will be hanging in the clubhouse for the craft/artisan show…
—– hope someone likes the color of copper!!!
And on an entirely different note:
I want to thank Alison of The Polohouse for sending me this wonderful magazine.
I won it — and so happy that I did — her home is in it —
—– and as many of you know — it is exquisite!!!!
Now I am off to visit these wonderful bloggers who are participating today —
—– At the Thankful At Home Party!
Today please visit and see the wonderful Thanksgiving inspiration and traditions —
—– of these fabulous bloggers!

Have a wonderful day!!!!
And as my friend Sherri would say — “Have a great day — or not — it’s your choice”

Wow, Shirley, just magnificent. I am in awe of you getting up at 6 am and being so creative from the get-go. You are special, girl!
The very first one you did, with the ginger spice tin top as part of the arrangement, just ingenious!. That is so gorgeous and I love the copper colors, they are so rich and blingy. Just my style, I’ll buy it!
Well, what a great job with your eyes half open. I couldn’t do that with mine wide open! I especially like the arrangement in the gingerbread spice tin and bet that I would have enjoyed the pancakes, too. Happy crafting and good luck at the show.
I love how you repurposed the gingerbread tin, I have to remember to save pretty containers for projects. I am so using your friend Sherri’s quote on my daughters when they are moody and since they are teenagers that is pretty much every day, lol!
Busy morning!! At least you’ve been productive.. can’t say the same here. 😉 Both pieces turned out gorgeous!! I love the gingerbread pancake mix tin… so fun! I rarely buy anything that comes in fun tins like that… I think I should start buying things just for the tin! I actually was planning a trip to WS today… I’ll have to keep an eye out for that mix!
Love them both. Can’t go wrong with copper sparkly things.
I think the copper colour is lovely, and so is the ribbon. You are beginning to make me feel seriously inadequate!
Love the color of this arrangement, Shirley! It works great with the tin. You are so creative with your arrangements! I’m sure all your pieces are going to sell quickly.
I am not a morning person. I like the arrangement in the tin, but I adore that wreath, it is stunning – it will sell immediately. I love seeing different magazines, I don’t think I have ever seen this one – I will have to look around for it. Best of luck on your booth!

I LOVE that gingerbread tin and the colors you chose just suit it perfectly. What a great job..,and the wreath is really pretty, too- xo Diana
Oh Shirley, I just love all the flowers arrangements and wreath that you have made so far. The copper is simply beautiful. I used to have a tree with copper and gold ornaments on it, but I changed to red, gold and pippin green when I got my red couch. (which I really love) it goes so well with so many holidays.
I don’t know if you have Trader Joe’s in NC but, they have a special coffee and pancake blend of pumpkins, cinnamon spices that is to die for. Love the pumpkin spice coffee in the morning.
Have a very product week and good luck on your craft sales.

Shirley,
Both the centerpiece and the wreath are gorgeous. I know everything you are making will sell. It is truly beautiful. Great job. You have the knack for making these so pretty.

I think the flowers you chose go beautifully with the tin. It couldn’t have turned out any better! Thanks for listing the links to today’s Tour blogs too. It’s nice to be able to click over right from a blog I’m visiting anyway. Lovely post as always Shirley!
Shirley, I love repurposing things to make a vase. this tin is perfect. I bet those pancakes were tasty too. The arrangement is really gorgeous.
Hugs!
Gorgeous as usual – love the cute little gingy man!

Hi, Shirley! Absolutely Gorgeous! The copper color is stunning!
I can’t say I’m out of bed too many mornings at 6:00am but I do like to get up and get started right away. Can’t always do that 🙂 But I like it when I can.
Beautiful job on both pieces! The tin is such a cute idea. Love the wreath- I know if will sell! I’m an early bird and often start projects pretty early too!
Shirley I love the tin and the coppery palette. I think I am using a lot of copper in my holiday decor this year. You have inspired me!
