Changes in Attitude, Changes in Latitude {French Buffet Vignette}

Well, there is always one thing we can count on . .

~ ~ and that is change.

When I brought another French treasure from my stash to bring into the decor . . .

~ ~ I felt the need to change some more things about.

These are the boot forms that I purchased in France . . .

~ ~ Well, actually, I passed some up at the Paris Flea and when our host Alain . .

~ ~ ~ went back to get them for me, they were gone . . but he found these for me!

And they are my size!

I wanted to do a little bit of Valentine decorating . . .

~ ~ I usually do not do much . . just some little things like this vintage Valentine.

And a red flowering plant here and there…

However, when adding some things to the vignette . . .

~ ~ I realized that the beautiful iron scroll lamp would look great in another area.

So off the lamp went to it’s new home (stay tuned) . .

~ ~ and I added some great candlesticks that I purchased from the High Point Market.

Thought they were the perfect size for the buffet.

I was attracted to the carving and detail at the base of the candlestick.

A few things added, a few things taken away, a new vignette.

Changes in Attitude, Changes in Latitude!

Have a wonderful day! . .

~ ~ and hoping all in the paths of these winter storms stay safe and warm!

Your changes in latitude and attitude are beautiful, Shirley. One thing always leads to another.

We have talked about the southern weather today. Ice is the worst! It is almost inevitable power will be lost. I hope everyone stays safe and warm!

Those are really neat! Your Valentine’s vignette is sweet. Other than some tablescaping I don’t do any Valentine’s decorating. I do love those old fashioned cards.

Very pretty change up, Shirley! Love those boot forms. I have never seen boot forms before, just shoe forms, but I guess it makes sense that they would exist. : ) Looking forward to seeing where you put the lamp.
