St. Patrick’s Day Vignette

Happy St. Patrick’s Day ! ! !

St. Patrick's Day Vignette

It’s a very special day in our house . .

As it is our cutie’s birthday!

Gray's Birthday

Her great grandfather is Irish . .

~ ~ so there was some divine intervention going on when she was born on that day!

St. Patrick's Day Vignette

Her “Irish Eyes” are always smiling!

My dad never got to see his great-granddaughter . . .

~ ~ with those pretty eyes always smiling.

St. Patrick's Day Vignette

However, I know he is looking down with his “Irish Eyes A Smiling” . . .

~ ~ with great pride and admiration of this little girl with the “eyes that smile”

HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY EVERYONE !!!

How sweet! Happy Birthday to your little Irish rose. My father was of direct Irish descent, so it is always a special day for my family, too, and I have a niece who married on this day 2 yrs ago. Happy St. Patrick’s Day – the one day of the year where we can all be Irish. πŸ™‚

Your granddaughter is darling and those smiling eyes – such a happy little girl. She reminds me of my Kelly at that age.
My son is cooking Corned Beef and Cabbage for tonight to teach her – her heritage. She went to school wearing green suspenders with a pink blouse and a green bow in her hair – so I guess she won’t get pinches. LOL
Your vignette is very Irish and look really good. Shame on me I had nothing Irish in the house.
but I am cooking Corned Beef, potatoes and cabbage with Irish Soda Bread. Yum yum. Have a wonderful week and enjoy your precious granddaughter.

Oh this is so sweet, Shirley! Happy Birthday to your darling granddaughter!! I love your St. Paddy’s Day vignette, and the best part of the vignette is her. She has such a sweet smile. πŸ™‚ So the Irish came from your father’s side of the family? How nice — I hope you get to visit there someday; I just bet you will.

Thank you so much for visiting, Shirley, and leaving a comment on Laura’s blog for my guest post! That was my first and only guest post, so I wasn’t sure how it would go. πŸ™‚ You are a kind and thoughtful person and you do North Carolina proud. Happy St. Paddy’s Day (a day late) and I hope you have a wonderful week!

    Blessings,

    Denise

I think the most beautiful thing in your vignette is the picture of your beautiful cutie! She is gorgeous! Careful, boys will be falling for those Irish eyes before you know it.
