New “wheels” in the Media room

I have been busy . . .

~ ~ and somewhat in a “mini panic mode” . . .

~ ~ ~ ~ preparing for something exciting to come in a couple of weeks.

Done my fair of shopping these past couple of days. . .

~ ~ and there are some new “wheels” in the media room!

Warren Pulley Task Lamp

Can you guess what this is???

Pottery Barn Warren Pulley Task Lamp

Getting close? . .

Media Room

I gathered my Pottery Barn bucks, gift cards, and coupons . .

~ ~ and woo hoo . . I got this Warren Pulley Task Lamp for a little over $30.00

Love those Pottery Barn bucks!

Media Room

I was trying to decide between this lamp and another . .

~ ~ but hubby really loved this one. . .

~ ~ ~ ~ you know . . you have to throw them a bone every now and then! ๐Ÿ™‚

Folk Art Uncle Sams

My folk art Uncle Sams . .

Media Room

Now, if they could only invent a way to make the cords invisible!!!

~ ~ and there are a few more additions happening in this room . .

Pottery Barn Bolton Lantern

We took down the fan and replaced it with the Pottery Barn Bolton Lantern

Media Room Monogrammed pillow

Adding some new pillows in the room like this one made by my friend Linda . .

~ ~ a.k.a., Kristen’s mom.

You are going to see the fabric in 2 other rooms soon! Keeping Linda busy!

So stay tuned for more changes happening around here!!!

Have a wonderful day!

I guess this shows my age and my background: When I saw the first picture of the wheel on the pulley lamp and I read “media room”, my mind went immediately to the old 16mm film projectors. Those darn projectors made my life miserable the first year I taught! Films would break or jump, the lamps would burn out in the middle of the film, etc. I’m so glad your picture turned out to be a cool lamp instead! I love all your additions. Thanks for sharing!

That looks great. Love the lamp, too. That was a great find and adds some real interest rather than “just a lamp”. Can’t wait to see what else you are up to! xo Diana

Love the lamp. I know what you mean about the dreaded cords, though. I keep wanting to rearrange my living room, but lamps and outlets keep me from doing what I really want to do. Drat!

I’m glad you quickly showed what that was, because you had ME panicking thinking it was a traction device!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ THAT would not have been good!!! The lamp, however, is GREAT!!! I love that super industrial, yet polished look! The new light fixture is a winner, too!!! I am super jealous about the pillow. I could use a few of those around here! The fabric is really great!

I’ve been fussing and nitpicking in my living room trying to catch up with you. That ain’t happenin’! I’m going to just gracefully accept defeat and keep on steppin’! ๐Ÿ™‚

I haven’t been to Pottery Barn recently so have missed seeing this very cool lamp which looks great in your room. Yes, it’s good to get something every now and then that has the hubby’s stamp of approval. Can’t wait to see where the new fabric shows up.

Love the lamp! Hiding the cords is a problem isn’t it? And there never seems to be an outlet where you need one. Lol My Man is helping me make some lamps for the boys bedroom. We need pulleys for them and can’t find just what we need. I can’t wait to share them on my blog. I love the lantern! It looks great!
