Lovely, lovely! Last week I worked on my back porch…now I need to give the front porch some work, after seeing your pretty one. Sheila
All of your flowers are so pretty on your front porch. I really like those big floral wreaths on your front doors though! They set the tone for the rest of the porch decor.
Beautiful, Shirley! I would love to sit on your porch and just take that all in. Are the urns filled with ivy or is that something else? Love the purple flowers in the wagon. Geraniums?
I love the door wreaths and I am determined to have dahlias, somewhere in one of the gardens. Your yellow dahlia is wonderful. Everything looks absolutely beautiful, Shirley!
Shirley, your porch looks beautiful! I especially love the little wagon and the bunny 🙂
Susan
You have the most beautiful porches, Shirley, and your front porch is no exception! Love all the pretty fresh spring flowers.
Mary Alice
I always love visiting your porch. I can enjoy a nice front porch through you since I don’t have one.
Just perfection! Every detail. I love your wreaths… especially the bows!
Lovely, Shirley! So fresh and springy!
Hi Shirley! I’ve been gone and have missed your beautiful posts! Look at your front porch – it’s just so beautiful, welcoming and cheery! Everything you touch turns to sunshine. I love those gorgeous wreaths and the little wagon with flowers is darling.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;0
It’s all so pretty and definitely says spring. I am living vicariously through you as I am following the Colorado rule of no potted plants outside until Mother’s Day. However, I am enjoying my red and yellow tulips which are in full bloom.
Mama is a smart woman! Did they take any exterior shots last week? Just this morning I spruced up the containers. My mom and sister are coming this weekend for lilys recital.
Oh Shirley, you never cease to amaze me with all your prettiness. The front porch is stunning and is so welcoming. Your friend did a wonderful job on your wreaths and I like how you used yellow – really brightens everything up.
Have a wonderful Spring week – we are expecting 90’s all week. To hot for me this early in Spring.
Mary
I always love seeing your posts in my email. My first thought is “I can’t wait to see what she’s been up too…You front porch looks wonderful. Love the wrought iron box with English ivy and those wreaths on your front door.
Absolutely gorgeous, Shirley! Now will you come do mine, please? 🙂
I love the touches of yellow – it is such a happy color! Excited about your photo shoot. How fun! I’m horribly behind in reading…I need to go catch up. Have a wonderful week!
Cecilia
Shirley,
I love how you use lots of carefully chosen accessories to decorate with, but it never appears to be too much or cluttered. That is definitely a knack I lack! I love the impact of the yellow, and those wreaths are absolutely gorgeous–I need to make friends with a floral designer. 😉 I do believe your flag says it all! Thanks for sharing all your beautiful touches.
Omigosh I want your doors, or at least one of them. No need to be a pig about it, just send me one of yours and wall up that side with plywood. No one will be the wiser 🙂
Lovely porch, gorgeous home – you are a wonderful decorator!
xox
Love your porch! Also love the tall, skinny bushes flanking your windows with the hanging baskets. What kind of bushes are they? I don’t think I’ve ever seen something like that and could use some. Enjoy your lovely porch 🙂
I love love the porch!! I’d just love to sit there and watch the world go by. The wreaths are lovely. Can I come over and just sit there for awhile.. I promise I won’t tell anyone where I am..they’d want to come too!
Shirley- The front porch looks as gorgeous as the upper one does. You did a wonderful job out there and the gal that made the wreaths did a spectacular job on them What fun! Your yard that I can see looks beautiful, too. I love how things grow in the South. We don’t have the luxury of a long growing season here. Love your little corner with the old wagon, too. Lovely!!! xo Diana
Shirley, your porch is lovely! I adore the wreaths! What a wonderful friend to make these for you. Your wagon is accessorized so beautifully too! Your porch is so inviting and welcoming for all your guests.

Hi again…on the right side of your porch…white bowl with purple flowers…is that an ironstone bowl? I have one just like that! 😉
I love seeing your porch, and especially in the Spring! Those wreaths are GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I absolutely love them, and I agree, yellow is a very happy color! I just didm a yellow and white table:) Your flowers look like they have been growing all season, I just BOUGHT some today and they aren’t even in the ground yet, or in my pots:( It is still kinda cool here:( I am DYING for warm weather, for more than on darn day! Awesome front porch Shirley! I love yellow flowers too. My eye went to the two smaller lanterns hanging from the big metal frame. Nice touch.
Shirley, your porches always amaze me and this time it was no different. LOVE the pieces on the front door. So much spring beauty.
Cynthia
Shirley, your wreaths are gorgeous and I love the sunny yellow color. It really brightens up everything and just says spring! Your flowers are all so pretty. We’ve been so busy that I haven’t replanted my outdoor planters but I’m hoping to get around to that in a few days.
So enjoyed seeing your beautifully decorated porch, but I must add that the entire time, I was saying to myself that I must get busy! All I have on my porch right now are two empty urns – oh, how I am falling down on the job. Thanks for giving me a push – lol!!
Beautiful wreaths Shirley! Spring never looked better than on your front porch!
