This past weekend . . . we were in Georgia.
Yes, for another tournament. We stayed with my brother and his wife.
My sister-in-law, Pam, definitely has a “green thumb” .
Both her indoor and outdoor plants and flowers thrive with her talents.
So I thought I would share her beautiful yard with you today.
There will be lots of photos and less “talk” . . . so sit back and enjoy . . .
~ ~ and take time to smell the roses!
When you walk up to the house on the path leading from the driveway . . .
~ ~ you are greeted with beautiful flowers and the flag waving in the breeze.
You will notice Rosemary plants planted alongside the flowers . . .
~ ~ serves a dual purpose . . great fragrance and deer repellent!!
I could not get too close to this Knock Out Rose bush . . .
~ ~ as the noise was almost deafening from the bees!!!
But then again. . . bees were everywhere on these beautiful flowers of summer.
As you can see . . . “it was a beautiful day in the neighborhood” . .
I love this magnificent stone in their landscape.
The front porch also is filled with beautiful flowers and hanging baskets.
There are many little details in her gardens such as this cute fish in the gutter spout.
Here is a little peek into the gardens of her back yard . . . for another day . .
As you can see from these images of Pam’s garden . . .
~ ~ her love for gardening shows in her landscape . . . her canvas!!
Hoping you are doing what you love today . . . creating your own canvas.
Have a wonderful summer day!

Pam has a lovely garden! I also love her home; it’s one of my favorite styles. You can certainly tell that she loves her garden. She has such a great variety of flowers and plants. Thanks for sharing her gorgeous garden!
Beautiful! The house and the gardens are wonderful. That fish downspout is so cool. Reminds me of things I’ve seen in Savannah.
WOW! That yard is beautiful. Does she do this all by herself or does she have yard help? Would love to see the inside of her house, maybe next time you visit???
What a charming home. Her gardens and landscape are fabulous!
Very pretty flowers, Pam. She does have a green thumb with a little help from her friends….the bees. They pollenate the plants. Just don’t get too close while they’re working their magic.
Wow, she does have a green thumb. Gorgeous landscaping!
What a beautiful home and garden. Thanks Shirley for the tour.
Thanks again for stopping by.

Oh my what a gorgeous style home and gardens! Your sister-in-law sure does have a green thumb! WOW her and My Mom would be Bf’s lol!
There is nothing I love more than a home that is landscaped and has such beautiful curb appeal. Your sister in law certainly has a green thumb and I can tell it must be a labor of love for her. Thanks for sharing her lovely flowers!
I really love the fish downspout! I bet that looks really cool when it rains. Lovely gardens – thank you for the tour.

Her garden is beautiful!
Oh my gosh, Shirley, is that really our house? You are so talented with your photography and storytelling, it highlights things I barely noticed before. Thank you so much for honoring us by posting our home on your very special blog and we really appreciate all of the kind remarks from those who follow your blog. It gives us a whole new appreciation and perspective for our humble abode. Pam
Wow! Their home and property is really beautiful! I can’t get over how lush and perfect their yard is. What area of GA do they live in?
What a beautiful yard! The lawn looks so plush and the contrast of colors is amazing!!~~Angela

Very pretty, Shirley! I love a path lined with beautifully cared for garden beds. The roses are gorgeous!
I poured over each gorgeous picture. You sister-in-law definitely has a green thumb and a knack for design. I’ve never seen a decorative down spout and I love the fish. Can’t wait to see more of this home!
Pam’s landscaping is beautiful, Shirley! I love all the varieties of plants that she’s chosen; and her porch is so welcoming. Everything is so lush and vibrant. Thanks for sharing!
I think more than her thumb is green! What a garden. I would have had to pack that fish gutter spout in my luggage!!!
I’m beyond excited to see you!!!! xo
Pam’s house and garden are beautiful. Love her choice of plants, especially the peachy Cannas. Love too the cute fish spout.
Pam really knows how to lay it out! I love that fish at the end of the downspout. I have to try and find one of those bad boys!!! I just hate the way our look, and having whimsical little dudes like that would make it so much more tolerable!
I didn’t know rosemary acts as deer repellant! Hmmmmm…I plant it for cooking and the wonderful fragrance. Of course, it’s not a perennial in this part of the country, so it wouldn’t be around when needed most in winter. Those deer just come outta nowhere all winter long around here!
Beautiful landscaping! Pam should be very proud of her handiwork!
Just beautiful Shirley! Craftsman-style is my favorite and perfect for the lake ๐
Lovely gardens… Love the flowers on the baskets too…
Thanks for featuring this again today. I pinned several images. LOVE that fish on the downspout. I THINK I have something that might work too!!!
I remember this when you posted it before. I love the way the gardens are scaped along with the sidewalk. Everything is done with such perfect detail. I’m glad you shared it again.
Shirley, once again this beautiful landacape and gardens were shared before I entered the blogging world! I am taken by how well kept and manicured…perfection! Is this where your sweet Mom now lives and has her amazing Japanese garden? THanks dear friend for linking to Gardens Galore!
