Sneaky Peekies of a Bedroom Makeover and Farmer’s Market Love

No…it is not my granddaughter’s space…still working on it . . .a slow process.

It is “MY” bedroom . . .

~ ~ while in Atlanta for the Haven Conference, Kim and I went to Pottery Barn . . .

~ ~ ~ ~ no surprise on that!

I found bedding that was on super clearance.

I have had it for a while; however, I needed to find some coordinating fabric for pillows.

So my friend Linda to the rescue…making the euro shams and 2 pillows for me.

There are a couple of additions in the room from HomeGoods.

Sunroom-Housepitality Designs

There will be lots of changes coming up next week, like this area in my sunroom.

Farmers Market-Housepitality Designs

I made a trip to the Farmers’ Market yesterday to gather items for my front porch area.

Farmers Market 2014

And guess who I met there???….the pretty Lauren from The Endearing Home…

~ ~ She did a post today on beautiful pics of the Farmers Market . . so hop over and see!!

Farmers_Market

My friend Sherri took a pic of us….

~ ~ we were on a mission to get as many items in my van and do it in 2 hours.

We filled every inch of the van with 18 large mums and countless pumpkins.

Your room is lovely. I also have several black tole trays. Would you tell me what kind of hangers you used? Thanks.

Now, that was quite a haul from the farmer’s market! Looking forward to seeing your porch decorations, and I need to finish decorating mine! One of my good friends here told me that her sister-in-law shares a booth with you. Isn’t it a small world!

It looks gorgeous! I am so envious of your decor – there is too much wildlife around here for plants/pumpkins/other edibles to be left out front overnight. I need some fake stuff that looks good!!!

LOVE your bedding….and I think it is more than perfect for this time of year….just an extra little touch of warmth-through subtle colors.

You two gals are way too cute and you and your friend did a great job filling your van. I can’t wait to see your porch (and the others). Hope you have a wonderful Friday- xo Diana

    Looking fabulous, Shirley!

I picked up a pumpkin or two yesterday at a local stand, while we were house hunting. It is funny how things work out. I think we may have found a house with a back porch. Still debating! The hunt is fun, whether or not.

    The link party sounds great!

    Thanks for the inspiration.

I love your new bedding Shirley, such pretty colors! I wish we had a PB outlet nearby, you always find the best deals there. Can’t wait to see all the changes around your house and especially your porch all decorated for fall. I had so much fun at the Farmer’s Market with you and thank you so much for showing me how to stack the pumpkins, I had no clue how to do that or how to choose the pumpkins. I finished up our porch yesterday just in time for fall.
