Master Bedroom Makeover Reveal

OK…I have teased you enough with my “sneaky peekies” of my bedroom.

You have seen a “sneak peek” of the fabric and pillows . . .

~ ~ some of which were made by my friend Linda.

So without further adieu . . .

Here is what I have been doing in the master bedroom.

I found the duvet cover while at the Pottery Barn in Atlanta . . .

~ ~ it was on super clearance and it had to come home with me.

I wanted to bring in more of the “blush” color into the room . . .

~ ~ to coordinate with the sofa.

So on a quest to find fabrics of blue and “blush”

Found the euro sham fabric at Mill Outlet Village in Raleigh.

~ ~ the regular shams are the matching shams of the duvet from Pottery Barn. (Palampore)

I found some other standard shams that had the perfect colors and pattern in it . . .

~ ~ however, I already had shams . . . so Linda made decorative pillows from the shams for me.

A Pottery Barn pillow that was on clearance rounded out the pillow configuration.

Have you noticed another new item in the room?….

A new “tea table” that I found at HomeGoods . . .

~ ~ it replaced the cherry table that I had in that place previously.

Thought it was time to “glam up” the room a bit. 🙂

Master Bedroom-Housepitality Designs

The previous cherry table did take up more room . . .

~ ~ not to mention the “matchy matchy” situation . . .

~ ~ ~ ~ so this table seems to really work with the sitting area.

I am really loving the new color scheme of the pillows with the sofa.

I purchased the euro shams on the sofa from Pottery Barn outlet. . .

~ ~ which lends great comfort for “lounging.”

Have you noticed the “other gold element” in the room?

I spotted this beauties at HomeGoods and it had to come home with me.

The lamps that were there previously landed in the sunroom.

When Mary Alice and her hubby came to visit, she brought me the most magnificent gifts. . .

~ ~ this pretty plush pumpkin was perfect for the room.

There were two more amazing things in the bag that I will share later.

We have a tremendous amount of light coming into this room . . .

~ ~ from all the windows in room to the window in the master bath. . .

~ ~ ~ ~ that streams through the hallway to the bedroom.

What a difference new bedding, pillows, and a touch of glam make to a room.

After adding the “golden glam” to the room . . . I think I need to add more.

What do you think???

Thanks for visiting today . . . and I wish you a most wonderful day . . .

~ ~ hopefully filled with something glamorous!

And, here is the master bedroom before . . . should you had missed it.

  40. Your master bedroom is gorgeous, I am visiting from Savvy Southern Style. I am currently working on my master bedroom too and have just ordered my plantation shutters for behind my bed. I have to unfortunately move my bed against the window (for better layout) and hoping that the shutters will work. I am also looking at decorating with blues. I have just bought my wall paint which is not blue but now seeing your room I am wondering if I have made the wrong choice, my first was to choose a lovely shade called French grey which was a blue/grey. The colour I have bought is a grey with a little beige in it to warm it up and it is called eighth Bison Hide, a paint only available in New Zealand. I wish we had the paint choices you have in the USA, it would make life easier.
