While strolling through the High Point Market showrooms I shrieked when I saw this showroom !!!
It was the MacKenzie-Childs showroom . . . oh happy day!
I strolled through and asked the very lovely ladies who were the representatives . . .
~ ~ if it was fine that I took pictures (as some vendors do not allow photographs).
They so graciously obliged and I snapped away!!!
You cannot feel anything but “happy” when you are in the showroom . . .
~ ~ or in the actual store in New York City.
Whenever I am in New York City, I make it a point to visit the MacKenzie-Childs store . . .
~ ~ I buy an item as my “treasured souvenir”
Now what little girl wouldn’t want this dreamy bedroom!!
I know my precious granddaughter would!!!
Her signature black and white check is my absolute favorite!!
~ ~ and love how that black and white check is incorporated in the fabrics of the furniture.
The seating vignettes just make you want to crawl up with a great book or magazine!
I can only dream about having a beverage server as gorgeous as this one!!
O.K. if anyone of my family and friends is reading this . . . take note. . .
~ ~ I would be very happy with any of these pieces for Christmas!!!
And these beautiful iconic candlesticks would be nice too!!!
I love how the design of the birdhouse have checked, chevron, and striped patterns.
As in all the wonderful designs of MacKenzie-Childs . . .
~ ~ these birdhouses depict her style of magic, enchantment and sheer beauty.
She is such an incredible talent and who cannot help but smile when you see her designs!!!
I did !!!
Hope your day is filled with magic and enchantment!!

I rember watching her on a cable show before she became famous. She was painting furniture.
Such fun items! Love their designs. Their home was really amazing – I don’t even know if it was sol yet. Thanks for sharing – enjoyed all the photos.
What a fun showroom. I love the little girls bed, it is adorable.
Hi Shirley and I’m so glad you’ve had such a great time! Oh, you can’t help but smile when you see MC things. I can’t imagine being in this showroom! Wow, all of the precious sweet things. I had a friend who loved MC and had her kitchen painted all designed to be MC everywhere. It was like being in a fairy tale! ๐ Can you buy things from the show room? Did you?
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ๐
What eye candy! Just beautiful! Thank you for sharing. Where is this located? Have a fantastic day! ๐
At the High Point Market Showroom, in High Point, NC.
I adore her whimsical designs. Did you ever see the barge she decorated and lived on in NYC? Amazing!
Fun and whimsical for sure though i find this kind of thing better to look at than to own. I envy your going to the High Point show. I’ve never been there when one was occurring and have wanted to.
So much fun whimsical stuff that allows your imagination to run wild.

Oh Happy Day! Glad they let you take pictures to share with us. I especially like the chair with the deep Orange stripes. Sheila@mykentuckyliving
I do remember waiting outside her store in NYC for what seemed like forever for you to make your first purchase HaHa!! But it was wrapped beautifully. There is a MacKenzie-Childs Christmas store at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs that you would love!
I love Mackenzie Childs! A few years ago I had a friend who burned my tea pot. So after that I decided to treat myself to something gorgeous from Mackenzie Childs. I love it! Whenever I look at it makes me happy. I just got the new catalog too, needless to say I was drooling. Have a wonderful weekend Shirley!
I have always loved that whimsical style- fun and lovely.
Wow! What a treat for the senses! I love the MC style. You are so right. You can’t help but be happy when you see it! Thanks so much for sharing it with us!
I always get giddy when I see Mackenzie Childs style and decor. It is so happy and delightful. Looked like you had a fabulous time!
Shirley,
Love all the Whimsy and charm in their booth. I can see where you would feel light hearted in their booth.
Happy Friday and have a wonderful week end

Such a fun booth. I have actually taken the tour of the “plant” located in Aurora NY and it really was the opportunity of a lifetime. makes you understand why those pieces are so expensive. Thanks for sharing.

I just be you felt like a little girl in that showroom. I love the bedding. If only my daughter were little again.
Oh how pretty and magical everything is in her booth. What young girl would not love this bedroom set. Don’t let you sweetie see this, or she will want one.
I would so love to go to High Point, but I am afraid that I could not do that much walking, but thanks so much for sharing MC booth – oh so lovely.
Enjoy your Fall weekend – can you rest this weekend?
Mary
Love her stuff!
I just love MacKenzie-Childs! I lost so many pieces when hurricane Ivan destroyed out beach home in 2004. It’s definitely a bright and happy showroom! Thanks for sharing it! I see so many fabulous pieces!
MChilds creations always just fascinate me. I just love to look at it. I have seriously thought about doing the girls playhouse in this because it would be a manageable area to do. I hope bj (SweetNothings) sees this post- she LOVES MacJKensie-Childs! xo Diana
Oh my! That showroom is over the top – what great inspiration! I love all the whimsy and patterns.

I always recognize McKenzie Childs when I see it. It has a trademark look to it, doesn’t it? My mom has one of their tea kettles in her kitchen.
L.O.V.E. her colors and drama. I particularly loved the camelback settee. I think I will order her catalog. Thanks so much for sharing this lovely showroom.
Shirley, this does look like such a fun and happy space!! ๐

How fun, Shirley! MC always has the most wonderfully, whimsical accent pieces. I love seeing great rooms built around her collections. They just make me smile.
Thanks for the eye candy. ๐ I love MacKenzie-Childs, too–such fun colors and patterns!
How lovely… I adore polka dots and squares and anything black and white with a little bit of color… Great find…
Shirley, I have long coveted MC Flower Market enamelware and would be proud give those one of those birdhouses and works of art a special place to hang indoors!
I went to the Mackenzie child’s showroom in Manhattan recently with a friend. She’s a big fan and bought a couple of things for her dil. Shortly after I found a place just under an hour away that has tons of her stuff, many of which I’ve never seen before. This showroom is one of the largest I’ve seen though. You must have had a blast!
