I have an area where I display the majority of my Ironstone.
The area needed some “Fallifying”.
Gathering some Thanksgiving inspired items and fall decor and set about creating this vignette.
Velvet pumpkins and a sweater pumpkin made by my friend Linda fill the ironstone tureen.
And real pumpkins too . . .
Love displaying my velvet pumpkins each year.
No Thanksgiving is complete without my cute Publix Pilgrims that are salt and pepper shakers.
I have missed shopping at Publix when I moved to NC; however, they are building some in NC now!!
Fall florals and pinecones fill this ironstone vegetable dish.
I recently placed this platter above the shelf . . . it’s a new piece . . .
~ ~ however, until I find the right ironstone platter, this piece does the job.
A chalkboard label on the plate, “Thankful” . . .
A napkin that I had monogramed last year . . . we, “Give Thanks” . . .
I am thankful to have had the opportunity to go on road trips with Mary Alice . . .
~ ~ and finding great bargains on ironstone!
And finding chippy stools to showcase them too!!
Truly enjoy this area that I can continue to gather new pieces.
Across from this area is another small vignette . . .
This is the latest piece of ironstone that I found while visiting Yvonne (StoneGable) . . .
I purchased this beauty for $12.00 !!!
A small bowl filled with lavender buds was replaced with this small pumpkin tureen.
This will be the last Fall Vignette for the year . . .
~ ~ as I am moving on to the Christmas decor.
Here are two other vignettes that I did this year:
The Foyer Fall Vignette:
I love decorating my French buffet for each season.
The Great Room Fall Table Vignette:
I have used these ceramic pumpkins for quite a few years . . .
~ ~ so next year it will be time for a bit of a change.
Hop on over and see more Thanksgiving/Fall Vignettes today. . .
~ ~ as I am partying today with these wonderful bloggers/friends.

You really have quite a lovely collection, Shirley. I like it all dressed for Fall. That one tureen is a gorgeous old piece…and your French buffet is just such a stunning piece. Hope you have a great day- I am off and running here soon- xo Diana
Gorgeous displays my friend!! Your ironstone collection is really growing and you have your pieces displayed beautifully! Those little pilgrims are too cute!
Great fallifying. Your ironstone collection is growing well.
Love your collection of Ironstone, Shirley. It looks perfect dressed up for Fall.
So lovely and inviting. fondly ~lynne~
Very pretty Shirley. I just love all the white.
Love all of your ironstone Shirley, such a pretty display. The little stools are fabulous too. Beautiful fall & Thanksgiving decor.
So pretty . I look forward to your poste. I did get a giggle at the Pilgrims though. I brought mine out on November 1stnas I have every year. Mine are accompanied by the Lilgrims ( the kids). I got those one year and think they are so cute!! The Publix Thanksgiving collection.
Happy today!!!
Hugs, Gee
Your ironstone is all so pretty, and you’ve got it beautifully displayed. Everything looks just perfect for Thanksgiving!
And NC is getting some Publix stores?? Really?! That sounds wonderful!
Love your ironstone collection….it looks so pretty mixed with your pumpkins and touches of fall. Using the little stools to elevate some of the pieces is such a clever idea too!!!!!
Very pretty……

You have a wonderful ironstone collection now! I like how you interspersed Fall décor among the pieces. Glad to hear that you’ll be getting a Publix near you finally. I didn’t realize that there weren’t any in your area. I have a set of those pilgrim salt and pepper shakers too.
I am always surprised with what you do with your collections. You always make them look so beautiful with all the right touches. I love the tureen and what a great buy too! Hope you have a wonderful day my friend!
Your fall touches look beautiful with your ironstone. I miss Publix too after moving here from Florida. They are building one in Asheville and it will be done something this coming spring and I can’t wait!
oops, I meant “sometime” this coming spring.
You have a beautiful ironstone collection and love how you have “fallified” this area! I did a final Thanksgiving vignette today for my post too! That was a fun day when we all got together. I used my new candle holders in my post! Come on over:):)
The fall touches to your ironstone looks great! Don’t you just love the pilgrim salt and pepper shakers? I didn’t get any for the longest time because the closest Publix was 45 minutes away! They finally built one about 20 minutes away just a couple of years ago, but had stopped selling the salt and pepper shakers. 🙁 I found some at a flea market a couple of months ago for…wait for it…25 CENTS!!! They are proudly being used in my kitchen now! I would like to get some other Thanksgiving pieces to set out during the month of November. I will be on the look out at every yard sale and flea market I can get to!
Shirley, Everything is beautiful and I love your ironstone! Publix originated in central Florida so we have one on almost every corner. Thank you so much for joining the blog hop!
Hugs,
Sherry

Hi Shirley, everything is gorgeous. Your ironstone is beautiful and a wonderful collection. I love the platter with the chalkboard message inside the wreath. This is a grand idea. I would love to try that too. I too decorate with books and have those same copies.
Always an inspiration to visit Shirley. Have a nice weekend.
Hugs
You’ve got all your whites going, and I like very much the way you have added seasonal accents which make the white stand out all the more. Very nice collection.
Hi Shirley, your home looks beautiful and you certainly have a wonderful collection of ironstone. All your vignettes are so pretty..Happy Thursday..Judy
everything look so beautiful xo
When I grow up, I want an ironstone collection just like THAT! And then I want you to come over and ‘Fallify’ it.
Oh Shirley it all looks so pretty!!
Just when I think ironstone could not get prettier… and then you go and style it amazingly!!!! I love your decorating style and your eye for detail. Such beauty and bounty my dear friend!
wow! I love that ironstone and the way you placed each piece is genius! Just beautiful.
Very good decorating!
Oh, you’ve got some beautiful ironstone pieces, Shirley! I never get tired of looking at white pieces, which may sound strange to some, but I love how they mix in with any time of year, season or holiday. Your vignette is a perfect example of how well it looks with the Fall colors. A simple change to Christmas colors would have it perfect for that, too!
You have an amazing collection! Love how you have it displayed. That Publix commercial will always be a fave 🙂
Your ironstone is gorgeous, Shirley! A monochromatic display is always one of my favorites, and your’s is styled beautifully! That lamp is stunning, too!
Beautiful and welcoming fall harvest vignettes, Shirley! I love this “thankful” time of the year. Your ironstone pieces are just wonderful; you’ve got a great collection. 🙂 I love your French buffet, too.
Have a great weekend!
Hugs to you,
Denise
Love your ironstone collection Shirley! It makes such a pretty Thanksgiving vignette paired with your pumpkins and adorable pilgrim salt & peppers. A Publix just opened here about 30 minutes away, I’m looking forward to shopping there when I’m headed that direction 🙂
The sweater pumpkin is so cool. I am hosting thanksgiving this year and still have one spot I need to add fall touches to and I love all these great ideas!
Lovely display, Shirley… You always outdo yourself… I’m going to invite you over and redo some of my things… Great taste…
