This is the first room that I have decorated for Christmas.
I have only completed a Christmas Vignette in a basket so far.
The Great Room tree is still a work in progress.
The sunroom is my favorite room . . .
~ ~ so it is where I initiate the Christmas decorating of an entire room.
I am trying very hard this year to do simple decor . . . less is more.
I kept the existing red and white pillows on the loveseat. . .
~ ~ and added one of my favorite pillows this season, a Pottery Barn Chalkboard Pillow.
I dressed my hanging candelabra that hangs in front of the mirror above the loveseat . .
~ ~ with stems of snowy evergreen and pinecones.
A simple tablescape for the room using a lantern, chalkware Santa and a tree . . .
~ ~ a dough bowl of Christmas inspiration for future reference.
My sunroom is not complete without a topiary . . .
Or two . . . Pottery Barn candlesticks with topiary balls trimmed with red berries.
I filled a white pitcher of icy holly and berry stems.
Tried to coordinate it with the pillow that is on the chair.
The pillow on the chair was in the Great Room last Christmas. . .
~ ~ it just seemed to fit well in the sunroom this year.
Brought 2 more of my felted Santas into the room.
This is my cozy space . . .
Oh, I could not help myself. . . I added some evergreen stems to the birdcage!
And more evergreen and berry stems added to the table . . .
One room done! . . . Now off to do another area of the house!
Have a wonderful day!
