Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend . . .
I am sure you were all putting your finishing touches to your Holiday preparations.
Me??? . . . I still have a long list and checking it twice!
In the meantime, the dining room was dressed with greenery and simple decor . . .
Even the hubby gave it a thumbs up!…As we use this room every day!
I placed my bottle brush trees in a silver trophy bowl to be able to contain
an arrangement for easy removal from the table.
A good thing when we use this table often.
I added some battery powered twig lights for a bit of sparkle.
Pinecones just seemed to be the right texture and color to add to compliment the
cardinals and the very large silver antlers.
Just added lots of greenery this year to the chandelier and some pretty gold birds.
This room has terrific light throughout most of the day . . . especially in the morning.
I just love to see the sun come streaming through the windows.
I have a set of antler napkin rings from Pottery Barn and I keep them close by . . .
~ ~ by just incorporating them into the centerpiece. Talk about double duty!
Form and function!
Greenery added to the top of the hutch with a few ornaments to embellish a little. 🙂
Added several ornaments and vintage postcards . . .
Even with the omission of the dining room tree this year, I feel as if there is still
just enough . . . just enough Holiday decor to make it festive.
The lovely ladies of 11 Magnolia Lane are featuring me today
as part of their Holiday Open House Tour, where 13 Holiday Home Tours are being presented
from December 4th through the 20th. So I hope you hop on over and see my tour!
