It’s another treasure presented today from my antiquing field trip.
You may have seen a sneak peek of this unique sort of piece.
I loved it and I knew that my hubby would love it too . . . and he did.
Not sure about how unusual it is; however, I have never seen an item like this with multiple uses.
I spotted this cart of sorts when I when antiquing in Pennsylvania last week.
Upon inspection, we discovered that it is a step ladder and hand truck in one!
Someone added the basket and turned it into a great cart. I knew just what I was going to do with it.
Love that the original label is still on this piece.
As you can see I am using the steps to display some clay pots.
Love these magnetic flowers . . . adds a little whimsy to the cart.
I used a combination of flowers and plants in the basket.
I also used cut flowers and placed them in floral tubes.
My favorite garden center that re-opened had beautiful camellias.
We bought a few to plant in the garden in the back yard
and one landed in the vintage Red Wing Crock.
This camellia is a Lady Van Sittart and there seems to be another variety as the other bloom is red
rather than striated.
The cute concrete bunny is a staple on my porch.
It was a housewarming gift from very special friends.
Last year, I found this vintage door at an antique shop in Mebane, NC for $30.00
I had a particular idea in mind for this door, but for now, it remains on the porch and I love
using it was a great backdrop.
I placed a simple grapevine wreath with a burlap ribbon in keeping with the simplicity of the door.
I am so happy that I made the decision to buy this vintage ladder/hand truck combination.
Such a unique piece that keeps things interesting.
This is the first step in transitioning the front porch to Spring.
Have you started any outdoor Spring projects yet?
Happy Spring and have a great day!!
