Shabby and Vintagelicious

Previously, I presented some great places where I have been antiquing and finding some great things

for great prices . . . always shopping on a budget.

Today, I have more eye candy for you. Great things on a budget.

Rust and Feathers/Ekster-Housepitality Designs

There’s a new girl in town at Rust and Feathers (in Leesburg, Virginia) . . . Ekster.

She has been setting up this new space and I cannot wait to see this area when she is finished.

By the definition of “just setting up” . . . I cannot imagine what it will look like when I go back

there . . . which will be soon.

The wonderful backdrop are antique doors from France. There are many gorgeous items there that

are from Europe. I heard of the plans for this space and as I said before, can’t wait to get back there!

Here are some more photos I took from Rust and Feathers . . of other vendors.

Love that chicken feeder on the farm table.

As you can see, there are so many things that you just may consider taking home with you.

Each area is so beautifully styled.

There is something for everyone . . . shabby chic, vintage, antique, industrial chic…

I kept walking past this beauty . . . should I take it home?

It is such a great scale and it is a perfect size . . . as most of these types of scales that I have

seen are pretty large.

And if you missed my post of other areas of this wonderful shop, you can see it here.

Wishing you a great day . . . I am working on a small project in the guest room today.

This room seems to be a SLOW work in progress . . .

working it in-between my “activities of daily living” !!

  10. Oh my gosh Shirley…love it all! I have that same chicken feeder which I bought last year at Rust & Feathers during their Holiday Open House. I currently have it decorated for Spring/Easter.

My heart stopped when I saw the scale. I have been looking for one and they are hard to find. I wasn’t surprised to learn that this scale had already found a new home. Did you go into the cute little shop next to Rust & Feathers? I cant think of the name but it has a pink silo out in front that you cant miss.

  11. Wow! What a fantastic place! I could spend hours in there…just browsing! 😉

  12. Whew, I need to go with you shopping, Shirley. I love that scale but I see it has already been taken. I would have walked out with that baby. I don’t see any where I go shopping.
Can’t wait to see what you are doing in guest room. You have good taste in décor.

  13. Gorgeous pictures, drooling over those doors. So wish they shipped

  20. I love your word Vintagelicious. I don’t suppose I’ll ever get to Leesburg. I use to frequent that area when we lived in Maryland. But antiquing is fun wherever I can fit it in. And yes! Daily life and responsibilities do get in the way of extra projects!
