Guest Room Makeover Reveal

It seems like this room has certainly taken me a while to complete;

however, no room is ever complete, right?

You have seen so many sneak peeks, so no more sneak peeks today!

Guest Room Makeover-Housepitality Designs

My inspiration started with the Pottery Barn Darcy Toile Bedding.

Love toile and chinoiserie!

French Champagne Bucket-Housepitality Designs

So who will be my first guest to celebrate with champagne that is seated in this beautiful

French Champagne bucket that was gifted to me by a wonderful friend.

Can you tell that I love blue? Hope my guests love it too.

Guest Room-Housepitality Designs

And I love to pop the blues with bright greens, like the apple green in my sunroom.

Guest Room Makeover-Housepitality Designs

The bedside table got a little bit of a makeover too.

Guest Room-Housepitality Designs

Guest Room-Housepitality Designs

A bit of ironstone added to the table filled with antique Japanese fishing floats

that my mom gave to me. I added some faux succulents for more texture and color.

Guest Room Night Stand-Housepitality Designs

Guest Room-Housepitality Designs

Placed a pretty bright green and white kalanchoe on the black stool.

You can’t have enough flowers and plants in a guest room.

Guest Room-Housepitality Designs

So happy that I had these branches with the green blossoms in my stash…

perfect for the blue and white pitcher.

Guest Room/Ironstone-Housepitality Designs

I also had these branches of white flowers that seem to coordinate well with the desk area filling

the ironstone pitcher. While another ironstone piece holds note cards and a container for pens.

Ironstone Tureen for Charging Station-Housepitality Designs

This small ironstone tureen holds a cord for easy phone or electronic device charging.

Guest Room Desk-Housepitality Designs

My drop leaf table doubling as a desk in the room.

Guest Room-Housepitality Designs

Guest Room-Housepitality Designs

I am very pleased with replacing the dresser in this room with the French Country hutch.

Guest Room-Housepitality Designs

This is what you will see when you first enter the room and I hope I achieved my goal for a great

focal point.

Guest Room-Housepitality Designs

When we stayed at the Greenbrier Hotel, this placard was in the room . . .

. . . . . the definition of “Bliss”. It came home with me!

I hope that my guests will feel a little bit of bliss when they are staying in this room!

Hope your day is filled with much bliss!
