It’s a Wrap!

It’s a wrap of fabulous Holiday gift wrapping ideas.

Great inspiration from a Holiday Gift Wrapping “Party of 10”.

to make your Holiday gift wrapping special.  So very special for your family and friends.

Did you see my gifts wrapped with a vintage monogrammed tea towel?

I love to use ribbon in so many different ways on packages.

The one on the left has ribbon in a basket weave pattern.

Now here are some great Holiday Gift Wrapping Ideas.

This one comes from Hunt and Host.

A great idea to wrap a gift with a gift.

when you wrap it with wonderful sheet music.

I think I need to stock up on some vintage sheet music

as you can use this idea for any occasion.

Jane of Cottage at the Crossroads always has the best holiday projects.

Jane’s theme was natural elements. Just love that moss ribbon.

Around the Watts House shows us how kraft paper

can make the prettiest packages.

I so remember long ago wrapping all of my Christmas packages in kraft paper

with red and white gingham ribbon. Sure wish they had the pretty bakers twine back then.

2 Bees in a Pod shows us how beautiful a gift wrapped in faux bark paper can be.

I have some faux bark paper in my stash

and may just wrap some gifts this year in that paper. Love the look!

Kathy, from Petticoat Junktion, the leader and coordinator of this party,

wrapped her gift in kraft paper and embellished it

with a vintage Christmas card/postcard.

Don’t you just love that look and would love a gift with that sweet card?

Refresh Restyle made this pretty package using a great combination of colors

and beautiful feathers.

I also love that Debbie’s packages coordinate with her gorgeous tree.

Roeshel of DIY Showoff presents lots of very creative Holiday gift wrapping ideas.

From the paper to the embellishments.

I have always wanted to do something similar to this amazing package.

I need to just make up my mind to do this, as it is truly wonderful.

Who needs tags when you have a great photo!

And last but certainly not least,

Andrea of The Cottage Market created some very festive packages

that made me smile. Loved her choice of paper, colors, and patterns.

Thanks, Shirley, for this eye candy! That’s what it is to me! I love wrapping gifts and especially Christmas gifts. Many people dread it. I love it! Just don’t want to be rushed. I, like you, love to make the wrapping as personal as the gift. Though I am somewhat of a traditionalist when it comes to paper (color, glitter, shine,) embellishing the top is like icing on a cake. Your last two posts have been a delightful gift for me! Thanks, Shirley!
Can’t wait to start my wrapping ritual!

Hi Shirley, these gift wrap ideas are sure to make the receiver smile and not want to open their gift. lol I gave a beautifully wrapped gift to my brother one year and he did not open it, I ask him why and it said it was just to pretty to open. He took it home and opened it 5 day later! lol Have a great day. Jo

I do coordinate my papers, always have even in the 70’s. I have fun every year adding to my base of black and white! This year is an addition of green and white for my decor. I had fun perusing these post. ♥♥♥ yours Shirley and I pinned away!!

So pretty–it’s hard to choose a favorite, but it might have to be the faux birch wrapping paper. I’m going to have to find some of that this year!
