On the way home from a tournament in Tennessee,
my hubby obliged me with a bit of a detour to stop in Lake Lure, NC
for lunch . . . and a stop at the Pottery Barn Outlet in South Carolina.
What more can you ask for than a beautiful lunch by the water’s edge of Lake Lure
and a stop at a Pottery Barn outlet to finish off the weekend.
I especially wanted to make a stop at the PB outlet as they were running a great sale.
I very quickly strolled through the store seeking out the great buys.
I seem to gravitate to the linens and bedding first,
where I spied something that was just placed on the shelves.
The Nella organic bedding.
This summer, I am definitely going with fun!
I loved the fun pattern and the colors were perfect for the room.
Not to mention, it was on super sale.
The shams after all of the discounts came out to be $5 each.
The total cost of the bedding (2 shams and a duvet cover) was around $63.00
The regular price was $160.
With those savings, I can buy a new pair of shoes! 🙂
I always look for linens that would coordinate with my peach/blush sofa.
This Mint Julep cup is from the Greenbrier Resort in West Virgina,
where we stayed on one of our anniversaries.
This cup is usually filled with a bunch of great faux yellow roses,
but this summer, it will be filled with my real hydrangeas.
The hydrangea bloom is so pretty that it looks fake…..no, it’s very real! 🙂
Moving over to the other side of the room . . .
You will notice that my vintage ironstone foot bath made it’s way to the dresser.
This is 4th out of the 4th position of the domino effect that occurred last week.
It went from the great room to the master bedroom where it happily contains a pretty Peace Lily.
I also replaced the previous mirror over the dresser with a vintage gold framed oval mirror
that I found in Strasburg, VA. I loved the detail of it and got a great deal.
I shall enjoy my new summer bedding with a fun design
to add to my summer of fun!
