Happy Holidays!
Today I bring you my Christmas Home Tour 2016 – Part 1.
I am joining the wonderful 12 Days of Holiday Homes Tour of 25 homes,
hosted by Jenny of Evolution of Style and Amy and Christy of 11 Magnolia Lane.
A big thank you to these amazingly talented ladies … and speaking of thank you’s ….
this tour is sponsored by the wonderful folks at Lynch Creek Farm.
And if you are coming by from Heidi’s at Home by Heidi …. welcome.
Welcome to my home all decked out for Christmas!
I received two gorgeous Majestic Magnolia Wreaths from Lynch Creek Farms
and I placed them on my front doors right away. They were the first of my
Christmas decor on the porch, which I am still working on. Reveal coming very soon!
The wreaths were actually the inspiration for my theme on the porch this year.
As you enter through the doors of my home, you come into the foyer
and then you are in the Great Room.
The foyer is in the background of this image.
My Great Room tree of treasured memories. Ornaments collected over many, many years.
The Great Room mantel this year is simply dressed.
Featuring a great faux Magnolia Wreath and Garland.
The Great Room decor was inspired by this pillow from Pottery Barn.
The coffee table vignette was also inspired by the Deer pillow.
Moving on the the Dining Room where this room takes on such a different tone.
A tone of Christmas Traditions.
Of sugared fruit in the trees and table … Lenox fruit and plaid design dinnerware,
and Carolers leading the way.
Next to the Dining Room is the Sunroom.
I continued the Christmas Traditions theme in that room.
The inspiration was the tree.
It’s a great room to relax with your favorite magazine and a cup of tea!
A room where you will see lots of Santas, like these felted wool Santas
that I made years ago at our “Crafty Chicks” group.
Next to the Sunroom is the kitchen and I am still tweaking that room.
Another room for later .. Part 2.
For now, last but not least is my Master Bedroom.
I went the less is more route in that room.
I have used winter patterned bedding in the past, but decided this year
that I will use the blue and white as my inspiration.
The sitting area.
The mirror over the dresser has a festive feel!
This concludes Part 1 of my Christmas Home Tour.

Hi Shirley,
I want to come stay in your pretty guest room and take in all your pretty decor. Absolutely gorgeous.
Happy Holidays.
Hugs,
Kris
Oh wow, Shirley, I’m almost on sensory overload, there are so many homes to tour, but I definitely wanted to stop in yours and see the beauty you’ve created. Your main tree is exactly the way I love to see a Christmas tree – just dripping with ornaments that tell the story of the people who live there! It’s gorgeous with all the placement of ornaments (and I KNOW that took a good bit of time!). Your plate stack of the Lenox fruit & garland pattern is wonderful, and the segue into the sunroom from there is really easy on the eyes – beautiful, both trees in those spaces. And your MBR is calm – the way I prefer – with that tabletop tree with calming white and gold. So pretty. Merry Christmas to you, and a very joyful New Year!
Gorgeous! Love all the touches of evergreen all around the house. I always love coming here and I always find new ideas! 😉
Shirley, your home just shines at Christmas with all of your lovely decorations. I must say that I’m really liking the blue and white Christmas bedroom decor, too. I hope you have the merriest Christmas!

Oh my goodness Shirley you decorate like I used to when I had more energy!! You are the tree decorator extraordinaire! Every tree is magnificent in it’s own right. I would love to come to your home so I could just soak up every detail. It is wonderful!!
EVerything looks magical, I am in love with the towering tree filled with that assortment of ornaments. Its stunning! I have to say your brand style is Fanciful Country Traditions! Its so elegant but down to earth, I always love visiting you.
So beautiful, festive, and I love that plaid throw blanket! Merry Christmas!

Gorgeous Shirley! I love how you’ve decked the halls and your stunning tree. Those wreaths at the door are beauties but I think my favorite area is your mantle and how it’s decorated this year with the simple beauty of the magnolia garland, wreath and bread boards!
