it's all about the hospitable home

Paris in Bloom, A Giveaway

I shall never forget my wonderful trip to the beautiful country of France.

I traveled there for the very first time,

with friends and bloggers for an exciting adventure, of sightseeing,

shopping the Brocantes and many fabulous shops, that were mainly in the Normandy area.

I so hope to return soon, to that country of such beauty and grace.

In the meantime,  I enjoy the picturesque countryside and cities

from books such as the one I am giving away to one of my readers!

I was introduced to this book by Lidy of French Garden House.

I ordered the book and loved it, and now I want to share one with you.

“Paris in Bloom” by Georgianna Lane.

Paris in Bloom Book-Housepitality Designs

This book contains exquisite photos of “Paris in Bloom”.

Paris in Bloom Book-Housepitality Designs

There is also a beautiful tutorial on how you can

create your own Parisian style bouquet.

Paris in Bloom Book - Housepitality Designs

Magnificent floral displays shown in both private homes and public gardens.

I so remember how enchanting the window boxes were.

Overflowing with exquisite flowers.

Would you love a chance to win a copy of this magnificent book?

Just leave me a comment letting me know that you would.

The giveaway will end on Monday, May 8th, 2017

and the winner will be announced on Tuesday, May 9th, 2017.

What have I been doing lately? Getting ready for a mega yard sale!

Yard Sale Items-Housepitality Designs

Started purging the linen drawers … emptied out quite a few drawers

and moved on to the closets filled with more linens.

Yard Sale-Housepitality Designs

Lots of nostalgia going on in this house, as I let go of many vintage items

that I have had for many years. Time to “Let it go”.

My garage is filled with hundreds of items to sell … truly downsizing.

Have a great weekend … you know what I will be doing!

In the meantime, again, should you wish to have a chance to win this book:

You have a beautiful way to package your items to sell. I’m sure you’ll do well – wish I was close enough to do some shopping! I’m planning the same type of process through my own home. I did a pretty major purge in 2012, but it needs to be done more thoroughly this time. I finally feel like I know my style and can let go of a lot more. Have a great day!

Fairly new to blogs and the creativity of so many women. I often think that instead of donating to strangers at thrift shops, why not give to like minded hoarders, I mean collectors ? Imagine having the opportunity to be the recipient after paying for postage ?
    That way the love continues.
Wish we could all be at your yard sale to meet each other.
