Every year I look forward to the stunning Fall Colors
that grace our beautiful area of our State.
We used to go to the mountains to see the brilliant Fall color,
but all we have to do now, is look outside our windows
or go outside and gaze at the glory of Mother Nature.
I love that this ironstone bowl of boxwood and pineapple
reminds me both of Christmas and Fall with the colors it displays.
So now I am definitely Falling into Christmas.
In some of my rooms for Christmas this year,
you will see some of the softer colors of the season.
I remember when I was living in Florida, I covered my Christmas trees
in Baby’s Breath as I felt it reminded me of snow!
And it helped when I had a friend who owned a florist shop
and got the Friends and Family discount!
From every vantage point in the house, I can look out and see
the beautiful and brilliant colors of Fall.
I will miss these views from my home, if we sell this house,
but hope that I will experience the same type of views in the new one (whenever that may be!)
I am busy, busy Decking the Halls with boughs and trees!
However, I am taking a break to spend time with my family to gather and give thanks
for our many, many blessings.
So I wish you all a most wonderful Thanksgiving!
Come back on Monday and see part of my Great Room reveal and a fantastic Giveaway!!!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING …. and to those who are traveling …. SAFE TRAVELS!!

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well, my friend! Safe travels and have a wonderful time with your family!!!
I wish you the happiest of Thanksgivings, dearest friend. And safe travels too. Your views are beautiful, both outside your home as well as inside. Much love, Lidy
What gorgeous views! I hope you have a happy and blessed Thanksgiving, sweet friend!
Happt Thanksgiving…safe travels.
Happy Thanksgiving Shirley! Fall seems to have arrived a bit late this year but it was worth the wait! Your views are magnificent. Hugs, Pat @ Bringing French Country Home
Beautiful! Our leaves are gone here in the mountains. We will start decorating for Christmas on Thanksgiving day. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
As you know, we don’t have the beautiful changing colors here in Florida that you see, but we can enjoy our beaches and comfortable weather temperatures. 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving, Shirley, from Gatorland!
Beautiful scenes, Shirley! I know what you mean about trying to bring snow to your Christmas tree lol! I tried so hard to bring in the feeling of winter when we lived in Florida; fires going in the fireplaces while keeping the AC at frigid, among other things. It’s hard to accomplish when the thermometer reads 80 degrees outside Ha!Ha! Looking forward to your Xmas reveals. Wishing you and yours a most lovely Thanksgiving, sweetie.
Glorious scenery and foliage Shirley! Happy Thanksgiving to you and safe travels. Looking forward to seeing your reveal on Monday. ♥
Shirley, gorgeous view outside and inside! Happy Thanksgiving and safe travels sweet friend!
Shirley, you do have beautiful views. I remember Thanksgiving was beautiful in coastal Virginia, not far from your area. Here in West Virginia our trees are almost bare.
Looking forward to your Christmas post, I know they will be gorgeous.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours !
Oh Shirley how beautiful those views are. Gorgeous colors. Hope you had a great Thanksgving.
xoxo

Pretty!!! I wish I would have bought more boxwood wreaths when they were on sale. They’re perfect! With pineapple in the center, that just looks like everything welcoming! I love that view out your windows. We take it for granted sometimes, but spew sure miss it when it’s gone and all there is out there is bare trees and brown grass.
Hi Shirley, I didn’t know that you used to live in Florida. What a gorgeous view you have! It must be very pleasing and very therapeutic. I love everything pineapple, needless to say how much I appreciate your display. Nice work as usual.
