Yes, that title is correct.
I have more Christmas Trees.
So, come along with me as I give you a Christmas Tree Tour and More Trees
that you have not seen or maybe just glimpses of them.
We shall start in the Great Room.
For many years, it was a tradition that a group of us
would hit the after Christmas sales. . . getting great bargains of items
from 50 to 75% off of truly beautiful Christmas decor.
The above trees, house and angels were all on sale. I pretty much go for the 75% off!
This year I made a new vignette using the house and all things silver.
The trees on the mantel in the background were also deeply discounted at the same store.
I carried the white, silver and gold theme throughout the Great Room this year.
The white glass trees on the silver tray also were on super sale (from the same shop).
White sparkly ceramic trees simply grace a table of blue and white in the room.
I showed you a glimpse of this tree before, but thought I would show you again
as I so love these Santa “foodies” ….
I got away from having a tree in the kitchen, but when I saw this cute fresh tree
at the garden center, it had to come home with me and it was perfect for the kitchen.
You can see my Great Room Flocked Tree from Tree Classics in the background.
I have also showed you some glimpses of the dining room tree
that I decorated to coordinate with my MacKenzie-Childs Holiday table.
A tree simply decorated with ribbon, pom poms, candles, and pearl picks
that i lightly flocked myself!
We traveled to Bryson City, NC to take the Polar Express train
with our Sweetie years ago. The next day, we went to a shop in Franklin, NC
and they happened to be having a great 50% off Christmas sale….
so into my arms this tree went. It sits in-between the chairs in the Media Room.
I minimally dressed the Media Room for Christmas this year. Actually I ran out of time! 🙂
This fabric tree was made by my friend Ruth. I treasure all of the things
that she made for me. Such treasured memories come flooding back especially around
Christmas, as we so loved decorating our homes together and trying to come up with
a homemade gift to make for each other. Actually the Santa in the background was the
last gift we gave to each other….to each other? Yes, it seemed like we gave each
other the same gifts many times!!!!
I simply dressed the Media Room mantel with my wooden trees.
It is hard to decorate that mantel with the large TV above it.
So for a recap:
In the Great Room is the beautiful Snowy Flocked Christmas Tree.
My Memory Tree this year is in the Sunroom filled with hundreds of special
ornaments from family and friends and travels.
This year, I placed a tree in the Master Bedroom, My Christmas Blush Tree.
I decorated it in blush, white and bronze tones. I love the way it turned out.
And last but not least. I placed a 9 foot tree with changing LED lights
in the Guest Room. It has been a long while since I put a large
Christmas Tree in the Guest Room.
As I look back at these photos of the various trees in my home,
I think, hmmmm, no wonder I ran out of decorating time! 🙂 But it was all worth it!
I have one more area to show you . . . stay tuned later this week.
In the meantime, I will give you a sneakie peekie of my project that is very slow
in getting complete ….. definitely a project that will be worked on in early 2018!!
Have a Very Merry Week!!! . . . Are you finished with your Christmas preparations?
Or are you like me?. . . running around getting things done right up till Christmas Eve!

Yes, no wonder you ran out of time! Your home is beautiful filled with Christmas present and past. I can’t decide if I like the flocked tree in the great room the best or the tree in the sunroom. Definitely a toss up!
Truly a beautiful Christmas throughout your home! Every tree is done beautifully. I love them all but the blush tree in the master bedroom is the dreamiest!
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas Shirley!
Oh my Shirley…that was a lot of work! Your trees are all beautiful, but my favorite is the little red fabric one from Ruth. Less than a week to go…I’m virtually done with Christmas preparations….my son and DIL are arriving tonight, so that was my deadline!! Hope you get everything on your lists done! 😉
So many beautiful decorations. It would be interesting to see you post on the storage systems you use.
Oh, Shirley, every room looks so pretty! I am in love with your Santa “foodies”–where did you find them? It’s a perfect kitchen tree and the porcelain container is gorgeous. I am like you, running around until a few days before Christmas, always thinking of just one more gift to give or there is great last minute sale on something. I promised myself that I would not go crazy buying more Xmasy things this year (that’s when I am at my weakest). Did I listen? NO! Hope you have the merriest Christmas. Hugs!
Thanks Bobbi!….I purchased those Santa “foodies” at one of my fav shops years ago and have not seen them anywhere since! Sorry I could not have been more help!
Shirely, you are the queen of trees. My goodness, it’s no wonder you ran out of time, each tree is a masterpiece! What a beautiful holiday home, you are celebrating in grand style. Happy “holiday busy days” to you, my friend.
Your home sparkles with Christmas beauty throughout!!! I love the great room tree and the kitchen tree really stole my heart! Those ornaments are darling! I wish I had been with your group years ago shopping for Christmas sales! I am just about done, still have to pick up a couple of gift cards (trash people, mail person etc.) Hope you get everything done, but I know you will. I’ll look forward to the post later this week:) MERRY Christmas!
All beautiful Shirley! My husband asked why I had so many trees this year. I only count my trees that are 6ft and taller, but he was counting the 7 artificial trees that were 3 ft and under!!! He still counts them.
Beautiful Shirley! I love the red fabric tree from Ruth! I remember her saying she hoped you liked it. She so loved Christmas and I really. It’s her! Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family..
Oh Shirley your home is so amazing with all of your gorgeous Christmas Trees. I’m sure your little grand daughter is in heaven when she comes to visit. Have a merry day!
xoxo Jo
Shirley, ever tree is just beautiful in its setting! I love trees and Christmas decor in ever room too.
What a beautiful Christmas home you have create, if there where prizes you would be the winner. Just wish I could get a little more motivated this week.
All trees are beautiful and different from one another. It’s an eye candy for sure. Beautiful photos. Loved this tour. Marry Christmas!
Oh Oh so so beautifully done and thank you for inviting us in and sharing your festivities God bless and Merry Christmas to you and your family
I love how you scaled back your Christmas decorating this year, Shirley. LOL! All kidding aside, it’s truly beautiful, and I think if I were a potential buyer and saw this, I would feel like I was in a fantasy land. Merry Christmas!
Shirley, holiday time and all year I enjoy seeing the work you do in your lovely home. Enjoyed the tour of all the fabulous trees! A beautiful collection of memories represented in each room whether given as a gift or reminiscing about how they were acquired. Merry Christmas. to you and your family
Shirley, what a lovely tour of all your trees and they are exquisite! It would be hard to choose a favorite, since they are all beautiful! But if pressed, I would choose the memories tree in the sunroom! Merry Christmas to you and yours! Sending love and hugs!
My goodness each tree is prettier than the next. I am glad I don’t have to pick out a favorite because they are all so lovely.
Your home looks like a beautiful winter wonderland! Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Thank you for the tour Shirley, your home is so merry and bright for the holidays! One of my favorite trees is your wee tree in the kitchen. You need a staff of elves for your decorating and undecorating! Merry Christmas. ♥
Everything is gorgeous as usual! Such a knack for beautiful and inventive decorating! Merry Christmas to you and yours and holiday greetings for your Mom as well.
Your trees and more trees are all spectacular. I have a bit of an obsession with trees myself and have over 50 tabletop trees that I have collected over the years so I truly appreciate your holiday decor. Thanks for sharing it and have a very Happy Hew Year!
