Hello everyone! It’s Floral Friday!
I had planned to do something in my dining room for this week’s post;
however, after trip to my favorite Consignment Shop, Always Home in Durham, NC.,
I decided to put that on hold and use my treasures that I found at the shop.
So today, I present a Sunroom Refresh with Blue and White and more.
Found treasures?! . . . Yes! Oh Happy Day!
A trio of blue and white pieces just came into the shop.
Two vases and one ginger jar. They have a hallmark on the bottom; however, it is
is blurred and I cannot read it even with a magnifying glass.
Underneath the hallmark (a crown shape and serial numbers)
is the name of the design (I assume) of “Cobalt Flower.”
So if anyone knows the manufacturer of Cobalt Flower, please let me know!
It’s a very pretty pattern and the bird is what caught my eye!
With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, I thought pretty shades of pink roses
would be appropriate to place in the ginger jar.
In addition to this trio of vases and a ginger jar,
I found a couple more blue and white pieces that had to come home with me.
A crock with a dragon design . . . . .
and a sweet round lidded piece that has tiny holes in the lid, in a lattice pattern.
I am thinking it is a potpourri or incense container.
Both pieces have the same design.
Pink tulips seemed to be the perfect thing to place in the crock.
I also placed my pretty vintage blue and white pitcher that I found in Florida
on the potting bench and filled it with the pink tulips too!
A few minor changes made in the sunroom. I have a bad case of Spring Fever!!
A blue and white pitcher that was formerly in the master bathroom,
was placed on the magazine side table.
You may have noticed that my black candlesticks are missing from the potting bench.
They will be a future project.
The pillows remain the same as previously shown in a past blog post.
Loving the crisp, classic and fresh look of the blue and white in the sunroom.
You may have noticed a magazine on the bottom shelf of the coffee table.
It is the latest issue of “Flower.” I LOVE that magazine!!!
Are you familiar with and experienced that “domino effect” when one thing comes into a room,
that many changes and tweaks occur? That was indeed the case for the potting bench.
Well, it was a pleasant “domino effect” for this room.
So happy with my new treasures and even thinking of where they could land
when I feel the need to dance to the “Vignette Shuffle”
Have a most beautiful day and weekend making your own kind of music,
singing your own special song and making someone smile!
