Ralph Lauren Inspired Floral Arrangement

Happy Friday Dear Readers!

It’s a great Friday as it is the third Friday of the month which means it is Floral Friday!

I am so happy to be joining Lidy, Mary and Pam, my beautiful Floral Friday friends

to bring you some amazing red, white and blue floral inspiration.

Today, my theme is not only red, white and blue,

it is a Ralph Lauren inspired floral arrangement,

using my Ralph Lauren Mandarin Blue pieces.

I have many pieces of the Mandarin Blue and have recently put them away.

When looking for a container to do this week’s Floral Friday that is all

about red, white and blue . . . I stumbled upon this collection and thought,

“this will work!” . . . I cannot tell you how much I love anything Ralph Lauren.

So here are the flowers that are contained in the arrangement:

I was unsure about the name of the red flowers

and thought that the leaves could definitely be

in the Kalanchoe family and my Garden Answers plant identifier app verified it:

I have never used stems of Kalanchoe before, so we shall see

how well they do in an arrangement.

I also filled the small cups with the Kalanchoe.

I stacked two cups to create a mini vase to create more height to the vignette.

I began photographing the floral arrangement/vignette with a white back drop.

The images seemed a bit too sterile for me, so I switched to the background

of the dining room hutch, which can be a little busy.

So today you will see both back drops!

Feel free to tell me which one you like!

The arrangement is a simple one to do.

I usually place all of the large flowers in the vase/container first

which was the hydrangeas.

Then I placed the Larkspur randomly among the hydrangeas.

Since the red Kalanchoe stems were my accent color,

I tucked them in-between the hydrangeas.

The Ralph Lauren lidded jars were actually sold in graduating sizes.

I purchased two of the same size to display as “ginger jars.”

They have been used in many vignettes throughout the house.

My sweet and talented friends of Floral Friday have some incredible

Red, White and Blue floral inspiration for you today.

Their links are listed below each of their images.

A visit to each of them is truly a must as you will gain some amazing ideas

for the perfect summer table and gardens too! Yes, their gardens are truly gorgeous!

Shirley, I love your combination of flowers including the pretty pop of red from the Kalanchoe! I can see I need to download the app to help me identify some garden blooms. I love the addition of the larkspur stems which lends a ‘garden’ feeling to your arrangement! RL Mandarin is one of my favorite blue and white patterns and it’s perfect to celebrate the red, white and blue. I love seeing your hutch in the background and getting a peek at your wonderful ironstone collection! It’s always a pleasure to join you for Floral Friday, thanks so much for all your organizing efforts! Our weekend looks like a wash out too ♥

Shirley, I love your beautiful red, white, and blue floral! I have never used Kalanchoe, but I should. The RL Mandarin Collection is perfect for your red, white, and blue celebration. I love the pop of color against the white background, but I also love the warmth of your hutch with the lovely ironstone as a backdrop. How fun that you mixed it up! I enjoy sharing Floral Friday with you. Please send me some of your rain! Happy weekend~

So beautiful in red, white and blue. I’m not good with flower names so I’m learning a lot from you. I need to check out that app.

Beautiful arrangement in red, white and blue! You know I LOVE the RL jars! I love the background of the hutch. Where did you find stems of the kalanchoe?? Have a good weekend, we have rain, rain and more rain too. I guess the whole east coast is water logged.

Shirley, this is spectacular! I love the red, white and blue, using the kalanchoe flowers is truly inspired. I am certain Ralph Lauren himself would love this arrangement, this would look amazing in the windows at his shops. You have such a talent for creating beauty , it’s your gift.

I love seeing your hutch with your ironstone in the background, your home is as lovely and warm and welcoming as you are.

Shirley, I am catching up with posts this morning. The garden has been after me in between the rain.

Your arrangement is gorgeous. And, it is so pretty with your hutch, filled with your blue and white dishes, showing in the background. I especially love the delphinium in your arrangement – I think it always adds so much.

Wishing you a lovely day, hope you are seeing blue sky.

I am going to have to search for that Kalanche. It is so hard to find red flowers that aren’t in your face red. What a lovely combination.
