Hello Dear Readers!
Today I am presenting the Christmas Master Bedroom at Berry Patch.
I fully intended to keep it simple; however, you know me . . .
it just wasn’t a Christmas bedroom without a tree!
So I went to the “Christmas storage room” and took out one of my fav trees,
the Clifton Pine from Tree Classics. As I was carting it to the room,
I had an epiphany as I passed by something in the breakfast room corner.
The topiary that was in a large blue and white jar would be perfect for the base of the tree!
Today I am joining my some fabulously talented bloggers for the Home for the Holidays tour.
The links for each day are listed at the end of this post
along with the wonderful participants that are joining me today!
A big thank you to Lidy of FrenchGardenHouse and Kelly of My Soulful Home
in their efforts of coordinating this tour.
Also, there is a giveaway of a $200 Bespoke gift card to one lucky reader.
See details at the end of the post.
As I stated above, I really thought that I would just do some simple Christmas decor
in the Master Bedroom . . . a few pillows and greenery here and there.
However, I had the perfect spot for a small tree.
The blue and white jar was a HomeGoods find a couple of years ago
and it has been used in many ways.
Pillows embellished with a simple Christmas tree design by Pottery Barn
is perfect for the room and the chairs. Love that tone on tone design.
A simple pinecone arrangement in a blue and white lidded jar
sits on the antique table between the two chairs.
Just trying to keep it simple with a faux topiary ball embellished with a strand of “gold and pearls”
tucked in a lidded glass jeweled box that sits on the secretary.
This 6 foot flocked tree is certainly the star of the room.
This flocked tree was in my former bedroom and I used the same ornaments from last year.
You can see last year’s post on this tree in the Master Bedroom HERE.
There was a framed print in this corner; however, it looked a bit busy with the tree.
I went to the “storage room” and found this sweet mirror that fit the space well.
Love how it reflects the tree.
Blue and White is throughout the room.
I attached a swag to the top of the mirror and added white wired ribbon.
As you can see I love topiaries ….
to the point that my son gifted me with a topiary ornament over 20 years ago.
The bed has not changed much from the fall look.
Two Tencel shams matching the Tencel quilt (love that Tencel line from Pottery Barn)
were added along with a Pottery Barn monogrammed pillow that I have had for years.
I added my favorite pair of gold jeweled deer to the night stands.
Along with the deer, a pair of metal scrolled trees that were formerly on my mantel last year
were added to my night stand.
If I had my way, I would have the beautiful glow of the tree on all night,
but we do need our sleep!
I hope you enjoyed my Master Bedroom decked out for Christmas.
Hopefully, I will be decorating the new house next year!

Shirley, your room looks amazing dressed for Christmas!! I love the tree in the blue and white jar, so elegant. I’d want to leave the lights on all the time too! Or at least spend lazy afternoons curled on the bed with a great book and lots of tea. {If anyone still has lazy afternoons that is} You created holiday magic with all your special touches, it’s stunning. What a delight it must be to come in this room , it’s so pretty I wouldn’t want to go to sleep! It’s a joy to be on this Holdiday Home Tour with you.

You can make anything look so special and beautiful. Great job as always! Happy holidays!
Swoon Shirley…I adore your petite flocked tree in your blue and white jar! It’s the perfect size for your bedroom and I love the reflection from the mirror. I’d want to enjoy the soft glow of the lights all the time too. Your swag and blue and white jars with the topiaries, reindeer and bird provide the perfect accents for a tranquil Christmas in your bedroom. ♥
Shirley- your bedroom is gorgeous! I love your neutrals and metallics mixed with blue and white. I adore Chinese export blue and white and loved how you used an urn as the base of your tree- so creative! One of these years, I want a BLUE and WHITE christmas! Anyways, I have LOVED being on the tour with you all this week…have a lovely weekend.
Love your bedroom tree. Love the combination of the white and gold, especially loved the little white bird. I always have a bedroom tree but this year I’m in the middle of moving, cant wait till next year will keep your tree in mind when I get to put mine up next year.
Shirley, what a beautiful and perfectly sized tree for your bedroom. I haven’t put up a tree in the master in several years, but I still have time. I love the blue and white jars with the topiaries, and of course the gold jeweled deer.
So beautiful!
I decorate vicariously through you. As you know, I’m pretty minimalist when it comes to holidays so I have to enjoy what all the rest of you clever people do. I continue to marvel at how you’ve made the Berry Patch cottage your own.
That tree is gorgeous. I love the shape and the flocking and the way your have it decorated. Your new room is beautiful.
