Sneak Peeks of the Christmas Great Room and an Announcement

Hello Dear Readers!

Today, I have sneak peeks of the Christmas Great room and an announcement too;

however,  let me give you the sneak peeks first.

I have been working on the Great Room at the Berry Patch House.

It is partially in conjunction to the announcement below.

When I first started going through the Christmas decoration bins,

I told my hubby that because we are in a temporary living situation,

that I was going to make the Christmas decor simpler, scaling it down this year.

He laughed! He said that our definition of “simple” weren’t the same! I must agree!

When we were in Florida last month, I came across this beautiful ribbon

that I knew was perfect for the mantel. It is from the Southern Living collection for Dillard’s.

My theme for the mantel this year is Silver Bells.

My vignettes are simple. Like this trio of bottle brush trees

in a blue and white tray … adorned with snow and Santa.

Another simple vignette on an antique French commode.

There is always one of my favorite Christmas decoration in a special place …. my partridges.

And now to the Announcement:

Previously we had announced that Floral Friday has moved to Monday,

our posts will be the first and third Monday of the month.

We are kicking off our Monday Morning Blooms with a special treat … actually two!

We are in collaboration with Lynch Creek Farm . . . each of us featuring a beautiful wreath

and an arrangement …. yes, an arrangement from Lynch Creek Farm for our Monday Morning Blooms!

The first treat is that we want to welcome Yvonne, of StoneGable to our group!

The Inaugural Monday Morning Blooms will span over 5 days.

Each of us will post on our selected days.

The second treat is that there will be a GIVEAWAY!!!

We will all be offering our readers a chance to win the same wreath that we have selected for our own home.

For more chances to win, please visit the lovely ladies of Monday Morning blooms

on their selected days and comment on your desire to win their wreath.

Today, Mary, of Home is Where the Boat Is, is presenting her wreath and centerpiece.
