Bees need flowers . . . flowers need bees
the earth needs bees. Such a small creature
that creates and sustains a beautiful world for us all.
Hello Dear Readers!

Welcome to Bees Among The Flowers – A Tablescape
When planning the creation of today’s blooms
I decided what fun it would be to use my
MacKenzie-Childs Courtly Check teapot.
Here is how the flower arrangement was created:
Pale yellow roses went in first..
I so love that I have a great space
in my new laundry room to have fun with flowers!
Almost done …
Flowers used today are:
Craspedia (yellow pom poms)
Pale Yellow Roses
and possibly Wild Yellow Migonette
I had an epiphany…
I remembered I had these cute bee magnets
in my stash and never used them.
Perfect to place on the teapot!
I found another appropriate “bee theme” accessory
in the storage abyss. Only had to open 2 boxes to find it!
A bee skep!
I tied a ribbon around the top so that
I could hang an extra napkin ring of a bee and
MKC Courtly Check dishes were used
in the plate stack along with my
Noritake Summer Estate plates.
The pale yellow check on the rims of the plates
along with the sweet flowers are happy together
with the Courtly Check.
Flower basket place card holders
hold a little message at each place setting.
“Bee A Friend”
Can you see my vintage flower frogs?
I found them at Sweet Pea in Knoxville and
stacked a tower of 3 in various sizes.
I wish I could find the antique flower frogs that
my mom brought over from Japan.
I chose to use my Fostoria American glasses
as they have a similar look to a honeycomb.
I chose the water hyacinth placemats
for the table setting as they coordinated
so well with the bee skep.
A view from the other side
looking into the foyer.
And the view as you enter my home.
I must say it was incredibly fun
planning this tablescape and coordinating
all things BEES!
Now it is time to join my fellow Bloom friends
and enjoy their posts that are all A Buzz!!
