Peepin’ into Easter ~ An Fun Easter Tablescape

Hello Dear Readers!

I hope you had a most wonderful weekend.

We had beautiful blue skies, a nice departure from rain.

I’m here again with my wonderful flower loving friends of

Monday Morning Blooms, Lidy, Mary and Pam.

Our common theme today is Easter.

So sit back and enjoy our Easter flower inspiration presentation today!!

I am presenting, Peepin’ into Easter ~ A Fun Easter Tablescape

The links to my Monday Morning Blooms friends’ posts

are at the bottom of this post under their beautifully

inspired Easter flower arrangement images.

I recently traveled to Scottsdale, Arizona with my hubby

as he had a conference there. A colleague’s wife also

attended. Darby introduced me to my new expanded world of

Nora Fleming products and how you can think out of the box

in how you utilize these wonderful pieces.

Previously, I did not have any use for the Nora Fleming Utensil Crock;

however, when I saw it on-line used as a vase ….

I knew I had to purchase it!! The Peep mini was the

perfect mini for today’s Easter post…it set the theme

for today’s tablescape.

Plate stack:

🐇Square plate by Maxcera, Group Floral (HomeGoods)

🐇Blue salad plate and bowl by Artistic Accents (HomeGoods)

🐇Blue round braided wool placemat (HomeGoods)

The adorable Easter cookies are from Target.

I am so happy that I found them as the bakeries

near me have yet to make Easter cookies.

They are individually wrapped and sold in

a container of 8 cookies (2 of each design)

The perfect “parting gift” for my guests.

Have you noticed my ever so cute place cards?

They are by Hester and Cook.

I purchased them in Scottsdale at a most wonderful

gift shop with the largest selection of MacKenzie-Childs

items I have ever seen in a private retailer. Couldn’t resist

getting a small MKC piece to pack in my suitcase!

Jelly beans in the spoon in typical Mary (Home Is Where The Boat Is)

surprise fashion.

Adorable Peeps and rabbits 🐇 have taken over the table.

A Peep placed on top of a cupcake that is placed on

my Pottery Barn bunny mini cake stands.

If you are like me….I tend to eat dessert first! 🍰

Too cute, right?!!

Cupcakes from my local grocery store bakery

along with this cake!

This mini cake is too cute and I just added Peeps.

Peep tip….

You know when you separate the Peeps,

the white marshmallow is shown on the

sides of the Peep where it was separated.

This always made me nuts when trying to use the Peep

as a single decoration.

So what do you do? …. You rub the exposed

marshmallow areas on the back side of a Peep

where there is  more accumulation of the colored

sugar coating….the sugar rubs off on the marshmallow wonderfully!

Now, I am going to write to the Peep Company and tell them

they need to include a small packet of sugar just for this issue!

On the other side of the table are the creamer and sugar

that are a part of the Maxcera Group Floral Collection.

Tablecloth by Tommy Hilfiger (HomeGoods)

Bunny in the Carrot Mobile are actually salt and pepper shakers.

I have another new addition to the table.

My pretty amber iridescent goblets that I found at

my favorite consignment shop, Always Home, Durham, NC.

They actually caught my eye as I was leaving the shop!

Good thing….I think they were shouting at me…take me home!

A view looking into the foyer.

The flowers I selected for today’s flower arrangement are:

🌸 Orange Gerbera Daisies

🌸 Cream and Pink Gerbera Daisies

🌸 Golden Yellow Ranunculus

🌸 Fuchsia Ranunculus

🌸Deep Pink/Fushia Calla Lilies

🌸Pussy Willow Stems

Hope you enjoyed my Easter table of Peeps.

You know, they say nothing is perfect.

Well, my table today has a “tablescape faux pas”

Did you notice? When I did, it was too late to fix!

However, I know Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail and Peter 🐇🐇🐇🐇

were the culprits…they mischievously changed the position

of my knife and spoon! Yep they did it and it was not

a “Senior Moment” and I’m sticking to that story!

Hope you got a smile out of this!

Now it is time to visit my ever so talented

Monday Morning Bloom friends for great Easter floral inspiration!

The links to their posts are below their images.

Enjoy!!

Shirley, I’m grinning from ear to ear and didn’t even notice a tablescape faux pas… I was too busy ‘peeping’ at all the colorful and pretty details of your table! I adore the plate stack and colorful tablecloth. Your flowers are a prefect match… those cream and pink Gerbera daisies take my breath away! Such an adorable cake and sweet cookies too and those Hester & Cook place cards are darling. I’ve long admired Nora Fleming products with the holiday and seasonal minis, using the utensil crock for a vase was genius! The bare marshmallow sides of the Peeps when separated drive me nuts too, I love your suggestion for Just Born to include extra sugar! As always, it’s a treat to share blooms with you. Thank you for the smiles and flower therapy this morning. ♥

Shirley, your table pulls at my heart strings. You have incorporated the most beautiful explosion of color, whimsy, and fun! I love every detail…from the tablecloth, plate stack, flower arrangement, and most importantly the darling sweets! My girls would be fascinated with all the peeps. I love the Hester & Cook place cards, they are adorable. The Gerbera daisies are stunning and give off that wonderful pop of color. The Nora Fleming utensil crock made the perfect vase. Now to the naughty bunnies, be aware that they can cause problems! It is always a treat to share Monday Morning Blooms with you. Your table brought smiles this morning!

Oh Shirley, how totally adorable! Nothing says Easter time like peeps! I know what you mean about the white edges showing when you separate the peeps, how clever of you to find a solution! I adore Nora Fleming products and have the very same crock…I also have the flatware holder and I keep them both on my beach house kitchen island where we have our buffets and it’s so much fun to change out the minis for the season or the occasion! Your table is total happy fun, love the bright colors and all the whimsy. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed Easter! 🐇🌷💕

What a great color wheel explosion, Shirley! From the tablecloth to the floral arrangement, and everything in between, it’s all beautiful coordinated. Love the Nora Fleming vase. You’ll have fun collecting all the seasonal topper change outs. NF also did a collaboration with Fiesta for a platter. Very nice. Love your latest consignment stems and those Target cookies are too cute. It’s ALL very cute.

Shirley, what a beautiful, fun and cheerful table! The colors are so happy, and it looks like spring in the most glorious way. Your peep filled table is sure to delight everyone sharing Easter with you this year. And I applaud you for the peep tip, it’s the one thing I don’t like about them. Other than the fact that I have to hide them from myself. : ) It is always such a joy to share our special Monday Morning Blooms together. Your table brought me joy this morning! xo Lidy

Shirley, I’ve had so much fun “peeping” at all these wonderful photos of your darling “peppin” tablescape. Don’t know where to start, though the “florabunda” tablecloth and dishes really set the stage! The cake, too cute! I want one! Square and lined with carrots! What could be more charming? Cookies are so pretty! I adore the way you used the peeps throughout the setting: the cute H&C placecards, the cupcake toppers, and the peeps peeping out of the flowers. I have to confess that I have bought multiple boxes of peeps this year in anticipation of using them on my own Easter setting. Only thing is, I’ve been snacking! Never knew I liked Peeps till I broke into a package. Thanks for the tip on how to sugar the sides where the Peeps were connected. Great idea! Happy Easter!
