An Antique Bench in the Dining Room

This past weekend, I traveled to Atlanta to go to the Country Living Fair…

…..It was fabulous!

So many wonderful things were offered…from antiques, to glorious art and objects….

…..handcrafted from talented artisans.

I found a “few” things there…:)

One thing in particular is a bench that I have been searching for….

…..for my dining room.

And this is the “after”….

The settee is dated around the mid to late 1800’s..made of split white oak.

There were a pair of these settees…I chose the one with the most worn paint…

…..I loved the more worn look.

So this is just one of the treasures that I brought home from the Country Living Fair…

I forgot something at Kim’s house…so you shall see that later…

…..she is keeping it for me, safe and sound…until I travel back to Atlanta to pick up my France treasures!
